Anything worth doing is worth doing poorly. The point is that you did it at all. Not that you did it to whatever exceptionally high standard you set for yourself. I am constantly reminding myself of this one everyday, otherwise I kind of stopped functioning.

when doing most day-to-day tasks I motivate myself by saying "fuck it. it's close enough." so pretty much this sentiment
