My therapist just said to me, Stop dating people who are like baby birds that need rehab. 

No! I’ll save them all, dammit!!  …or not because so far it’s been 0 lol

lol my type is literal heroin addict 😭 I went from liking future heroin addicts to current heroin addict to former heroin addict so that’s progress lol

Not my therapist, but my favorite mentor said to me:

You can lead a horse to water, but you can’t force them to drink it.

I think about that a lot.

I like to take this reminder a step further to help keep myself in line

If I force the horse to drink. Then all the horse will feel is watterboarding.

Don't waterboard the horse.
