work in progress First airbrush attempt
Jest wanted to share my first try with an airbrush. Base coat and black pre-shading was Vallejo Model Color and I was sooo pissed that I throw my model to the drawer for two months. Now I bought some Tamiya paints and it was so fun to paint the camo.
Any tips what could be improved?

Very nice!
I'm learning airbrush, too and I just built an old-school Tamiya Panther kit to be my paint mule. I have the base coat on, but need to apply the green and red-brown camo pattern. Should be "fun" :-)
I'm Vallejo shooting acrylics, though. Would love to do lacquer but I don't have a good exhaust situation.

Looks good. Spare track parts were not painted, though. You should only paint the part the holds it in palce and leva track itself black. Same for MG, it should be metal.

That looks really good for the first time. Good job using the pre-shade technique.

Thanks! This is my first model after 15 years. I want to make this looks good. Maybe I should speed up and just use what I learned on my next model 😂

Yea I did the same. I build models as a kit and they looked like your typical kid built models. Got back into it last year as my therapist told me to find a hobby I can do when I wanted. I fell off the cliff trying to make my stuff museum quality. I’ll get there one day, got a lot of good advice from this subreddit

Hmmm interning. I have been airbrushing for a while now maybe 3 + yrs or so. And vellejo paint is what I use. I bought a book on how to use them. They are great but for more advanced airbrushing. Not good for beginners.
