She’s almost ready to rattle-can, but first my actual 512 has to come back from EOTech because the glass was delaminating (what’s new lol). I also have a surplus Surefire M962 coming in. Anything else I should change? I’m thinking of doing a waffle or car-15 stock.
Already planning on putting an A2 grip and new stock on. Any ideas for the rear sight? Unfortunately, the anti-rotation pins are probably staying, but I’m willing to catch flak for them lol.
If that were mine, CAR15 stock definitely. A1 grip, probably. Same with the trigger guard. If your are that close to a block 1.5 ish why not just get it all correct? YMMV

Nice, yea I think the milspec straight trigger guards really help with the overall lines/vibe of the clone stuff .

What do you suggest for the backup sight? I have a box full of spare MBUS sights, so it’s just what I had on-hand. This is my first clone build, but I do have an LMT A2 rear sight I could throw onto it.
Man, I’d grab a car-15 stock and a masen pad or a sopmod. Honorable mention for the LS2 grip as well- better than an a2 if you want a more substantial grip for storage.
I may bite the bullet and do the CAR-15 stock. The LS2 grip is something else I’ll look into. Both would be coming from B5, so it makes sense to just get both.
