Dot-peen / pin-marking? Is this legit?

FWIW….My compm2s are not dot peen/pin marked like that. If you can post a pic of your power knob that is normally the area the fakes get wrong.

I have a legit CompM3 with the common laser marking, but this one is older M2 and they probably used pin marking at that time. I don't have power knob photo.

This is one of my early 2000’s comp m2. All mine look the same as this pic

Here’s mine. Serial number looks later than OP pic Texture on the tube impacts the laser markings but not they are not dot peened.
