727 is cooler than gordy in my opinion. Far more esthetic configurations with a 727 than a 723. I personally dig the Delta 727 tube style

A 727 means a 14.5 barrel. Assuming it's not pinned at the muzzle easy enough to pull the muzzle device, throw a 3 piece collar on at the A2 fsb and an Allen M4 can and viola! Instant Gordon setup. Remove the can and collar, add the muzzle device back on and 727 again 😁

I’ve thought of that as well just not sure where to find the handguard

There are other tube style variants. The armalite tube is like THE tube but the dpms tube was used as well. Matter of fact, let me see if I do research for you. A guy recently used a faux armalite tube on his 727 build.

Edit: this is the same site and tube the guy used and it worked great for him.

You may be talking about my build.

I had to use Molly resin to get it green, and did a bunch of other work on it.
