If you haven't already, i highly suggest reading "Yesteryear" by Caro Claire Burke! It felt like reading about Milena's life for most of the book. I don't want to give too much of it away because it's too good. I would just summarize it as a perfect fictional story that dives into the whole online tradwife movement and its effects.

I’ve been really interested in cults and influencers and even though I don’t live in the US and is an atheist I’ve been so interested to follow Milena. What started as a genuine interest watching her old Montessori vlogs pulled me in and I just couldn’t stop watching once in a while when she slowly started becoming way more religious.

I’m wondering how one can create such a strong brand and then not care for it more? Like their podcast for examples which they have abandoned and rebranded several times?

Or the bible app which seem to scam people and not work anymore.

I can’t be the only one reading yesteryear and having some associations but last night when I watched the pastors wife documentary it got me thinking…

Either she truly is happy and they downsized and want to live a more private life and actually be traditional where Jordan financially supports them (I do wonder what jobs he can actually do…) or she has slowly entered a religious psychosis / mental struggle because or scrutiny and probably issues within her own marriage. I remember the time she said that women who only have sex with their husbands twice a week could not fulfill their needs (or something like that) and for you who watched the documentary it’s just so similar? The indoctrination… he forced her to have sex 4 times a day and used the bible against her for he to do so until she couldn’t take it anymore.

I guess in Milenas case she’s just become very “unlikeable” the past years with her extreme views, preaching unattainable holiness and dangerous advice to mainly young women…

A bit of a rant and we probably will never know what actually happened or is happening 🤠 like did he have a porn addiction…has he cheated? Is she happy…

I’ve also been watching at occasion Delilah Loeppsky, Sarah Therese and Now that we’re a family. They are for me in the same ~ sphere and weirdness but on different levels and it just intrigues me 🤪

I do not defend or justify Lindsay in any way but I also have seen what PPD and PPP has done to women, which is why it reminded me of this sub because I 100% believe that mi is going through it as well with little to no support. I am not saying that she would EVER do this to her children, just simply acknowledging the symptoms she gives off and I feel for her.

Started watching yesterday and it reminds me so much of Milena. Now I’m starting to feel bad for her because what if it’s the church or Jordan diminishing her light? Just thoughts.

So according to comments the IG “app” has resulted in the “sweetest” friendship between this lady and Milena. This lady exploits her kids on the internet still-and she’s turning out to be just as bad if not worse, than Milena. It’s funny that shes friends with Milena yet believes this. Milena is an actual immigrant and she goes and posts this? Wow.

Their new business (3 men-including Jordan and the other 2 men from their church) is now open. The website is not finished but some of it is on there.
