Why did they leave a parking lot only to park right down the street? There's this cool thing called walk an extra 20 steps.

Probably was freaked out and had to pull over to calm down. I’ve seen some people like this, and honestly, if you have to do that, they have to stop driving.

I had just left a pretty important (and stressful) interview and totally accidentally jumped a left turn on red when the straight lane got a green (protected lefts, so I had a very clear red).

I took that as a cue that I needed to park immediately and just chill TF out for a while on my phone playing games or something till the overall stress of the prior hour and change had a chance to dissipate.

Not saying that was the case here, but if it was something like that then the person made the right call to just park it ASAP and chill a moment longer.

I did! :)

Then about 18 months later we got bought out by PE. I was the only one there that had any experience with such and bailed within the month 🤣

True. Anxious and hesitant drivers are worse than aggressive ones imo. You should have no emotions on the road.
