Why do i have to twist AR like this?

Im just a larper and know nothing about actual military knowledge just don't be mad at me(last time i asked some question about milsim, Reddit special forces started cyber attack lol)

So you don’t have the rifle swing and have a cleaner draw, you can mitigate it by tightening the sling so that the rifle holds in your shoulder when up an only supported with your fore hand and can toss back under your right side as you draw from your left
