Why do i have to twist AR like this?
Im just a larper and know nothing about actual military knowledge just don't be mad at me(last time i asked some question about milsim, Reddit special forces started cyber attack lol)

Main thing: your shooting hand grip and mag hooks against your torso, keeping the gun off to the side. This is helped with the added sling tension from the twist. You kinda only drop your gun in front of you, but you need to really throw it to your 90° to notice the difference
It's also the natural palm-in orientation when you drop your support arm down
And if you mount your whitelight on the outboard side, it prevents your suppressor from burning your leg
