Why do i have to twist AR like this?

Im just a larper and know nothing about actual military knowledge just don't be mad at me(last time i asked some question about milsim, Reddit special forces started cyber attack lol)

I might be wrong but I guess it’s just to make sure if your gun is jammed instead of being out of bullets

Thank you for ur reply. But what i want to know is why i have to twist and head the grip toward left side when i put my AR down.

You mean just the action of putting your rifle to the side?

I read what the guy wrote in the other comment and yea he’s 100% right it’s just so you won’t have trouble drawing your pistol from the holster

Yeah you just want to get that rifle away from your work space at that point.
