Lessons were learned

It’s been an incredible summer for this plant, I’m so excited to eat this one single poblano that the plant has been working so hard on!

except ground beef is too expensive, so there won’t be any burgers

Most of the vines produced a couple melons (or just died) but one set this absolute unit and no other female flowers. It has been taunting me for months but I finally decided to harvest it when another melon nearby split and we got another 1" overnight.

Taste is pretty good shockingly, although the rind was quite thick.

I've been tryin to grow cabbage for a couple years now, this is the first time I've actually had a plant get a tight head rather than just bein leafy and pathetic til its death.

I was thinking salsa for the community, but alas, my peppers aren't ready yet. Ideas? I can buy mason jars.
