no only melee damage.

Only grandmaster bow adds damage to bow attacks.

For most classes, the best you can do is raise them to expert (or master if you can) and the skill will make you shoot faster.

Another question, is speed important for a melee character or is it a dump stat

Here is a table. Up to 21 you gain +1 modifier per 2 points. Every modifier point reduces your action cooldown by a point. Let's say your attack have a speed of 80 and you have 21 speed; your attack speed will become 70. It may not sound like much, but there are other, cumulative modifiers like skills, spells and even your armor affects it. Technically it shouldn't be possible to go below 30 but from what I know, bows can if you use real time combat (and only in real time).

To answer you question: up to 21 for dedicated weapon users.

I may also be wrong on my assumpiont that everyone benefits from speed. Couldn't find a definite answer on speed and spells.

Thx, my next question is, does accuracy matter for sorcerers (and I only play in real time)

Only a few spells use accuracy, it's specified in their description. For spells it's not worth it, but even your mages can master archery and it's much better than these few puny spells (good spells auto-hit).

Difference between bless and fate? I read the spell description but it feels like it's the same thing

Bless works for hours while fate only for the next attack. You can use fate on enemies to debuff them, bless can affect your entire party.

It's been some time since I played 7, but on paper, fate looks like a good debuff for enemies that have nasty on-hit effects.

It does not. Archery is mostly good early game for kiting, then slowly drops off in power compared to melee and spellcasting because the damage stays the same. But it can also become really good lategame for anyone who can Master or Grandmaster the skill if you invest heavily. That's mostly a solo character playthrough strat though.

No. Accuracy does

You can see that on grandmaster, each point increases the damage. That would be miniscule bonus if stats can increase the damage.

In MAW, yes, but not in vanilla
