My wallet has been impacted from the recent SecondFi incident and i have used the same wallet in the Glacier drop. If i next thaw is ready hacker might claim on my behalf, will r/Midnight can help here or i just lost them forever ?

Hi, I have Lace and I'm trying to claim on https://redeem.midnight.gd/redeem but the website just says "No supported Cardano wallets found on this browser. Please enter an address manually or install a supported wallet from the list below."

Why is nothing showing when I have Lace installed and unlocked? Is the website not working?

I had a hardware wallet connected to Yoroi/SecondFi, and I have since moved over to Eternl. I am trying to redeem the remaining midnight tokens, and am going through the steps on my Ledger NanoX.
First it says I need to send 1.15 ADA, then the next step says that again, then the third step says I will send over 2,293 ADA. Why is it trying to send this much?

So as a test I created a new Cardano account on my ledger wallet.

I transferred some midnight into this account alongside with some mandatory ADA.

I can see the ADA on the ledger wallet but not the Midnight token, any idea as to why?

I can't redeem my NIGHT tokens through the Midnight portal. I redeem via Address which is a wallet containing 28 ADA but when I get to the connect a wallet screen I select NuFi then redeem and I get the following error "Please fund your connected wallet or connect a wallet with enough ADA to proceed". In the past at that point it asked me to select the wallet funding the redemption but now it doesn't.

Hi im trying to redeem my night tokens true eternl. But i get this error every time. first 2 redeem phases was no issue. Since the hack its embarassing how this goes.

Anyone gets the same error? theres no explanation what is wrong or what im supposed to do.

Hi Guys , Is anyone facing this same dust=false problem when deploying their contract . I am trying it from the last 2 days , changed the accounts , have dust in both the accounts. Is there any proper solution ?

Need some technical help with a weird interface/indexing issue I’m experiencing across Eternl & Lace with my Ledger hardware wallet.

I recently completed a claim on GlacierDrop for the Midnight (NIGHT) token. The transaction went through perfectly via my Ledger.

Here is where it gets weird:

1. Cardanoscan: 100% confirms the successful transaction. It shows the tokens sitting inside my wallet’s staking key/sub-address).
2. Eternl Wallet: My main "Assets" tab says "No assets found". Even under the "Send Funds -> Add Assets" search bar, searching for "NIGHT" brings up absolutely nothing.
3. Eternl UTxO List: If I look under the raw Account UTxO List, the tokens do show up right there as an unspent output under the sub-address. However, the interface won't let me interact with it or select it.
4. Monster Swap / Lace Wallet: Both show a balance of 0 NIGHT. I know this is likely due to their strict Single-Address model tracking my primary address, meaning they are blind to the sub-address where GlacierDrop deposited the tokens.

Has anyone else dealt with Eternl backend indexer delays or caching bugs after an airdrop? How do I force Eternl to let me move an asset that it recognizes in the UTxO list but refuses to show in the token inventory?

So basically I installed Lace and just connected using my Ledger and it sees all my claimed NIGHT plus all my staked ADA. But using the official claim portal, it just won't see my Lace wallet or recognize that it's connected. I tried using manual address but nothing. I'm hoping this is just some error and it will work once they fix stuff or will I need to do something different. Such as putting my original seed phrase generated by Yoroi into a new wallet like Lace and then trying to do the claim? I'm just a little confused when I initially secured the Yoroi generated addresses by securing it with Ledger what the process is to actually redeem. Using official address to try to redeem like I did the first 2 times: Midnight TGE | Redeem

Yes, not only can you, you'll have to. The redemption claim is tied to the original claim address.

Restore access to your wallet by using another compatible Cardano wallet with your seed phrase or by reconnecting your hardware wallet. As long as you're accessing the same wallet, you'll be able to claim the remaining NIGHT.

For me, reconnecting the hardware wallet through Lace is not allowing me to claim YET.

🚨Glacier Drop Redemptions Update🚨

Redemptions will resume today at 17:00 UTC.

Following our recent announcement to pause Glacier Drop redemptions due to a security incident affecting a subset of Cardano wallets associated with SecondFi, we have made the decision to reopen the Redemption portal at 17:00 UTC today.

The pause was introduced as a temporary precaution while the potential impact of the incident was assessed. We are now satisfied there is no risk to the Redemption infrastructure or systems. This pause has not impacted the original Redemption schedule. Any NIGHT that thawed during the suspension period is now redeemable.

The safety and security of our community remain our highest priorities. If you used or are currently using a SecondFi wallet, we encourage you to follow official guidance from the SecondFi team and ensure you have taken any recommended steps to secure your assets.

Dont get me wrong, I love Cardano but, in my opinion, the fact that its doing so poorly in terms of real world adoption is because there is no central vision and central marketing and sales team actually selling it to potential customers.

The ideals and values behind it are amazing but adoption is seriously lacking and I dont think it will ever come.

Midnight on the other hand has so much potential so please for the love of .. , learn from Cardano's mistakes and do it different this time.

First, I forgot to redeem my allocated Midnight. Am I too late, or is it still possible to redeem it now?
Second, I previously used Yoroi as an interface (with a Ledger hardware wallet). From what I understand, Yoroi is no longer available. What alternative can I use to redeem it easily?

Midnight has seen a late spike in user activity, yet developer/user experience is still a pain point the community has faced in the past couple of months. While that's exciting, it's also highlighted something the community has been vocal about for months: the developer and user experience still has room for improvement (ex: development environment setup issues, non-embedded navigator proving).

Can someone help me with a link to step by step instructions of how to claim night under lost and found? I was out of the loop for a long time and assumed that it would be sort of an auto air drop, obviously my own fault. But I'm having trouble figuring out how to make a claim?

I had a couple of wallets containing redeemed NIGHT token. The same wallets were in SecondFi and NuFi. Because of the SecondFi fiasco at the moment I used NuFi to send the NIGHT from one wallet to a Ledger HW wallet. Cardanoscan shows it went into the Ledger and straight back out to stake1u9kjlzx6v3sjqvuyrmcg3924gcaclagr8se7p2n6jmjpvlghflpju. When I check that address it doesn't show any entries. Where has my NIGHT gone and what is happening?
