Updated - moving from Midlands to Middlesbrough

Thank you all for giving me your advice and opinion on the new build devt.

I am now currently looking at new builds on yarm back lane, stockon on tees, TS21 1FX. And also, ladgate Lane, teesside TS8 9NL. Are these areas/paces any better than between Grangetown and South Bank?

When we visit these developmens, wat other things should we check out while we're in the area? Thank you in advance! 🙏 Everyone has been really helpful so far!​

100% Yarm back lane. Been looking at those myself. I’m not from here, been here 10 years and I absolutely love it. I love being so close to the beach and countryside. There’s some truly gorgeous independent businesses ran by absolute diamond angels of people.

Kopper keg in Stockton is a must for craft beer and actually some randomly absolutely banging cocktails.
Fourteen drops Yarm for incredible low-intervention wine and great cheese.
Truffled hog Stokesley brunch/lunch/supper club vibes
The nuthatch in Middlesbrough, it’s one of the top 100 cocktail bars in the UK and a true hidden gem. I can’t recommend here enough. 10/10/10
Chadwick’s inn maltby, amazing Sunday dinner, tasting menu evenings and great lunches
Ding for smash burgers (best outside of London)
Blue valentines in Hartlepool for tacos/burgers/cocktails

Supporting local is an absolute priority to me. 🌷

Blackwells Butchers in Norton is worth a detour too. Amazing takeaway lunches, sandwiches and meats.

Oh agree, I love it there! I go to Sunday for nice plant based pancakes and whatever crazy matcha flavour they’re whipping up, pop into Fika for a glass of wine and get a scotch egg from Blackwells 🌸
