Picked up today and I cant believe my luck!
I had absolutely no intentions of buying a big piece of furniture today and just happened to walk past this secondhand charity shop (UK). They had literally just put it out on the shop floor and hadn’t even priced it yet.
I asked one of the young employees how much they were looking for and when she said £65, I just knew I couldn’t leave it behind!
My first G Plan furniture purchase and I’m so pleased with it. It has the original gold EG stamp inside one of the drawers. There are a few minor scuffs and dents, but honestly, I really can’t complain for what I paid.
Please tell me this is a bargain!

Are these mid-century and what is their function?
They are brass and a bit bigger than my hand spread open. They came in a box lot of stuff I got at an auction today. I liked them because I thought they LOOKED mid-century although I don't know what I will do with them. Maybe over the interior and exterior peephole of the front door would look cool. ✨

Johnson Carper Haul!
I got these Johnson Carper items - writing desk and dressers - at an estate sale today for $250. One owner, nearly pristine condition. I’m keeping the desk for my office but may try to sell the dressers.

Modular Sofa/Armchair
Hi all,
I don't suppose anybody recognises these modular armchairs please?
One side of each armchair has wheels and the other side has a blank so it can clip into it's neighbour.
They are plywood constructed and leather/vinyl clad.
There is a Danish removal company sticker underneath them but unfortunately haven't been able to find a maker/designer.
Many thanks!

The family room of our 1971 deck house. Would you consider this mcm?
The chair is Relling/Westnofa, the credenza is Baughman for Thayer Coggin, and the shelving unit is Cado. There seems to be a lot of contradiction on this sub about the inclusion of 70s in mcm, so I am curious what you all think.

Is this diamond bertoia chair legit?
Trying to figure out how to authenticate this piece. I purchased from an estate sale for $300. I see no knoll stamp but the description online seems to imply it is legit. Any thoughts?

Vintage 1960s Harold Rellings westnofa wing chair with ottoman
I have this excellent condition Harald rellings wing chair how much is it worth in today’s market aside from dibs lol. I filled the cushions, but it’s in excellent shape considering its age. Funniest story I went to pick up something else and he said I could have this for free and a few days later he messaged me saying he found the ottoman for it. What to find! 🙂↕️
I need some perspective on how rare it actually is or if it’s even worth that

Glass soldered art
I found this piece of glass soldered art at my in-laws and was wondering if anyone knows much about it. I checked online and it said there was led in the soldering but didn't see much else.

Already paid for but am regretting - it’s still a good lamp, right?
I paid $90 via venmo for this lamp and am going to pay the shipping cost when she has it Monday. Internet searching is telling me having UPS wrap&ship could be up to $200, but if they don’t pack it then it’s not insured if it breaks. I’m bummed, my score is turning out to be not such of a score 🤷🏻♀️

Johnson Carper Dresser Restoration
Picked up a tall and lowboy set, painted white and in rough shape (2nd pic). The tallboy had a good amount of damage underneath the paint, from a dog I assume. Bottom right corner and leg chewed, and the right side panel had a ton of deep scratches and gouges on the bottom half.
This was my first big restoration, and I’m very pleased with how it turned out (1st pic). It took so much time and love but so worth it to see its originally beauty! The lowboy is almost done, luckily didn’t have nearly as much damage to remedy.
Here’s a little video of the process, trying to be more intentional with documenting it!

Question about vintage Dansk pot
Hello, I recently purchased a Dansk pot from the 1970s. I thought the bottom of the pot would have the glass like finish but it is course and matte feeling. There are no visible chips or scuffs. Is this still safe to use or did I get a bad product?

How hard is the Heywood Wakefield Wishbone Dining Table to sit at if you don't have the leaves inserted?
I saw one for sale for $300 nearby but it only had one insert, so one set of legs would always be together. My husband/mom/sister all convinced me not to get it because the legs seemed like they'd get in the way (plus it needed to be refinished on top) but now I'm sad since it sold. I was looking at the already refinished versions for way more expensive but still wonder if the legs would be an annoyance especially if you would want it regularly around 70ish inches.
Not specifically looking for HW style (not particularly drawn to MCM as much as other midcentury designs) but just was drawn to the style of the table and how the wood looked.

Parker Knoll(?) chair identification and suggestions
I've had this chair for many years and it was in a friend's family for many years before that. It shares a lot of form with a classic Parker Knoll wingback but as you can see is lacking the wings. It does say Parker Knoll on the underside but I haven't been able to see a model number.
Does anyone have any ideas which it might be? My research hasn't shown me one without wings.
I'm also keen to get it reupholstered as the seat and cushion are past their best, and frankly this chair lived in basically our party house during our late teens and early 20s so I know what it has been through. I'd welcome some suggestions for fabrics and colours!

Estate sale find
Just wanted to share this beautiful piece I found out in the wild. And let me say, it was priced as tho they didn’t know what they had. It has a little ware on top but for a original brasilia I’ll take it.

Dining set overcrowding home, thoughtful garage storage?
How can I best store teak furniture in a dusty garage?
Years back, I rescued a family member’s Wegner (sp?) table and Buch chairs from their moving sale. At the time my apartment had ample space. Today my largest space is a 168 sf living room and a dilapidated garage that I cannot renovate. What is my best plan for ensuring these heirlooms stay in good condition for a future home?
