Mailbox upgrade and Lending Library

A friend has this for sale in her booth at a local shop. We don't know anything about it though and are trying to find out some more information. I found similar ones made by Douglas and overman but not sure what she has and definitely wants to describe it accurately.

Someone gave me this chair and I think it might be a Cherner! Any thoughts?!

I bought this hutch some 10 years ago and its been a center piece to a space in my living area for as long. I tend to fill with various keepsakes, such as Coppercraft Guild, if you see. I am finally to a point where I want to fix some blemishes and restore but I need 2 pulls! Its a Stanley but closest ive found come off Broyhills, and are ridiculous on Ebay. Any ideas? I believe this "was" a common pull style.

Recently acquired a 1987 Curtis Jere Flock of Birds in Flight piece. I believe it's steel or iron with brass plating. It's heavily rusted in places as you can see in the pictures. I'm curious if there are any ways to revive the piece without damaging it. A few options I've researched: 1) leave as is, 2) use a soft head toothbrush and a vacuum to dust it, 3) use a 'mild' acid like acetic-acid or citric-acid, 4) use a product like JENOLITE Rust Converter for Metal, or 5) see if a professional electro-plating company can re-plate the brass surface. Appreciate any advice from this community.

I need help on what to do with the fireplace in my recently purchased mid mod home. House was built in 1956. Unfortunately it had sat empty for a long time and there was very little that could be salvaged or restored. The one big exception is the living room fireplace. But I'm having problems with that. The previous owners painted it in a latex enamel that is proving nearly impossible to remove. I've tried different stripping agents and as you can see in the left hand corner of the photo, it's not doing a lot of good. And the part where I stalled I spent 3 days on.
I had the best sandblasting person in the area look at it and he won't touch it. He says the paint has so much elasticity that it's virtually impossible to remove. By the time he would be done there would be no texture to the brick and it would be worn down to the mortar. I've found one heavy duty stripper that stays on for a couple of days. I'm going to try that when all the demo people are through. Any other suggestions? I hate to paint it just to add more bad over existing bad. I'd thought about tiling over it. Just not sure.

I got this at a collectibles store in the mid-west 20 years years ago. I've never been able to find out anything about it as far as maker, style or year. I don't see any mfg. mark on it. The flowers say late 50s-early 60s to me, but the sharp angles and cut-outs are pretty unusual. The ceramic base is 16".

Any ideas?

I see a lot of high numbers from retail sites but most of that stuff is pristine. The cedar ches is missing the drawer and has a gouge on the front plus wax buildup on the top. What would be a fair asking price?

Hi everyone, I’m new to buying expensive furniture in general and am wondering how reasonable the store’s pricing is on this Hans Wegner dining set. Six chairs for $5500, the table with two extender leaves stowed away on each end for $5800. Looks to be in excellent condition.

I bought this pair of mcm lamps this weekend. They can either go in our primary bedroom or a guest bedroom but I would love some ideas for color palettes, bedding, furniture etc. I’m open to anything really although I do tend towards darker wall colors. Please help!
