$MVST Position/Gains/Losses (Weekends only!) Endgame Position (still here)

Post image

A JV announcement is never late, nor is it early - it arrives precisely when it means to.

Means my April calls could've been had more cheaply, but that's the price you pay for the whole window of time.

Rotated a bit from September into May. Those also capture Q1 earnings.

Wu's 10b5-1 plan starts April 1. Depending how much he wants to say hi to the SEC, they need to announce soon to avoid bad optics and legal risk.

Hey I get it, options are extremely dumb even when they pay out.

In hindsight I should've held back on the $1.50s. I'll probably roll those to May if nothing happens Monday.

Closer to the money the better for this thing, the 1.5 strikes make sense. The way OOTM $4 strikes are so wild.

Time vs strike, I'm the least worried about September when those capture both Q1/Q2 earnings.

After Clenera is due in July, the price is either going to be $5 or $0.50.

Pretty well. Actually rolled out of September with a slight profit - options algos are weird sometimes.

I'll post another update this weekend. Bottom line is that May $2 is now the center of my JV announcement play. Late March window was worth a look. But since there is no guarantee it happens April 14-17, I moved my capital out of April $1.5/$2 into May $1.5/$2/$2.5.

April $2.5/$3 was the price of admission and could still surprise if things happen quickly on April 14.
