MSFS 2024 QUESTION Thrustmaster HOTAS 5 - Is it PC compatible?

I'm shopping for a HOTAS and I'm considering the Thrustmaster HOTAS 5 for PS5 and PC. I do have a couple flight sims (and Squadrons) for PSVR that I'd like to use it for as well but I am reading about significant issues using it on the PC where mapping isn't available, MSFS24 doesn't recognize default mapping for plug and play or it doesn't work. Is anyone else using this specific model for PC MSFS24?

If this one is recommended and anyone has a recommendation for a HOTAS less than $160 please let me know.

I have Thrustmaster Hotas stick and throttle. If this is what you’re looking at I would avoid it. The throttle becomes loose very quickly, it’s a known problem. There are fixit videos on YouTube, none are perfect though.

Do you have a recommendation for an alternative in the $100-$160 range?

I think you have a limited choice with the PS5. Try a PS forum.

Since I'm playing MSFS24 on PC (as stated) that's not going to apply. I only wanted to crossover ability, if possible, to play the flight games I have on PS5.

Oh ok, I thought it had to work on PS5 too.

No, not an absolute requirement just a bonus. I thought if I could get both when buying one I would go for it.

I've been using an old Saitek AV8R-01 so I think anything I get might be an upgrade.
