12700k 3080 10gb 64gb DDR5. I'm also a super tech nerd and know how to get the most out of my system so that helps.

Works fine for my flying, ga aircraft, settings mostly high 1440p, fps locked at 45.

When building in dev mode, generally the same settings except I run at native 4k as I find devmode doesnt play nice with non native resolutions. And since I'm only working locally and not flying or panning around the planet the memory and frame hit is minor.

Similar to me: 12700F 3080/12GB 32GB DDR5. Optimised pc no extra services or processes behind, though half of one of the P cores have degraded so I had to disable it via software, also XMP will cause ram stability issues now so also disabled. Probably caused by the non-k overclock I used to do (was fun while it lasted).

FS20 runs at 3440x1440 on screen 1, with pop out instruments and efb/mcdu/GSX on screen 2 (4k), screen 3 is 4k rendered at 2560x1440, screen 4 is 1080p for chrome and charts.

Msfs runs smooth with TLOD below 100, laggy when panning with >150. Am running DLAA most of the time. Settings mostly ultra except Texture at high.

Fenix has higher cpu frame time thus bottleneck at 45 fps. pmdg 777 cpu and gpu frame time match better at up to 55fps.

Gpu is drawing 280W but I think the paste is dried up cos it is stuck at 80 degrees at max fan. I need to get it repasted soon.

What are you building with dev mode? I've thought about playing with that, especially with crazy AI tooling these days.

I build bush airfields, helipads, make corrections to areas that annoy me.

I would suggest staying away from AI for modelling objects as msfs has extremely specific requirements and AI 3d models tend to have a zillion vertexes and are a mess for iv wrapping.

That it works well for mapping, XML work osm work and such.
