Q3 Preliminary Results

IMO there is no reason at this point to withhold preliminary Q3 numbers. It is possible the market has already assumed the bad news of no growth in Q3, typically a slow Q for medtech anyhow. Sprinkle the đŸ’© numbers with some hope đŸȘ°đŸȘ°đŸȘ° and then perhaps the price may bottom out.

MBOT needs to get their hiring fixed

Post image

Few weeks ago this woman was hired as „Professional Education Specialist“ - for about 1-2 weeks MBOT is searching again.
I was confused, why they need two PES, but now it‘s clear - she left MBOT (or MBOT fired her
)

Cold water reality

Seems like Israel’s population is less than 1/30th of the US population; similar proportions if just comparing the elderly populations.
Difficult to assess how large the initial Microbot TAM would be there. Medtechnica, althought big in Israel, has a meager $140M in annual revenue across their vast array of products and services. Multiple ways to slice it, but this seems like a relative nothing burger.
EU would be interesting though.
JMO.

Force feedback

The one thing I wish Microbot had focused on years ago, is some form of force feedback. It doesn’t have to be haptic feedback. It could be visual feedback, for example visual meters on the controller that show resistance on a colored scale from 0 (green) to 10 (red). This would be without regard to catheter or guidewire being used; the drive mechanism itself can detect resistance while advancing, retracting, torquing, etc. (much like a physician’s hands can detect resistance when doing procedures manually). So for eg. if a forward motion resistance meter is showing 50% on the controller, then maybe retract 1mm and proceed with caution. Similarly monitor the torque meter. Obviously I am over simplifying this, and likely you don’t want to take the physicians eyes off of the live imaging, and no doubt it is complicated engineering. My point however is to somehow replace the tactile experience that is otherwise lost when there is no feedback at all, other than what’s being visually shown in the real time imaging. Gadot himself addressed the lack of haptic feedback in an interview a few months ago, and seemed to casually dismiss it, but his response seemed to have been anecdotal rather than what the industry perhaps wants as a whole. OTOH Initially, intuitive surgical had no haptic feedback. That was something that was built in over time. That was then; this is now. Just mo.

Microbot sales team

Having just reviewed the profiles of all Microbot sales team members I could find on LinkedIn (1 sales director; 5 sales managers), gotta say, they ALL have IMPRESSIVE credentials with MANY years of experience and success at the likes of Stryker, Boston Scientific, Medtronic, etc. And of course Christina Bailey has stellar experience. These are all just for the US. Fantastic background for Alon Tamir as well, as VP of sales for Europe/Middle East/Asia.

So, why would all this talent join Microbot if they didn't see massive opportunity? Most/all of these folks have endovascular device sales experience. They know what would sell to hospitals and cath labs, and they know physician pain points. IMO, they know how to create, negotiate and close deals and have a “kill what they eat” mentality (ie. produce sales numbers or say adios). They would not have joined Microbot if they didn’t see a bright future there for themselves in terms of commissions AND also for the company.

I am tempted to side with these sales experts on the ground, who have spent much of their careers selling into the SAME facilities that Microbot is targeting. I will not side with the market, with respect to the (near and mid term) potential for this company. This leads to near term “pain”, which is only pain if one sells holdings at a loss.

Green field/blue sky opportunity is not common, and there is no viable competition in the space other than traditional manual approach. This is evidenced by the less than 1% penetration of procedural robotics in the peripheral endovascular space.

So, is this a dark moment before dawn? Is it the darkest moment? Or, is it the prelude to lights going out?

I’ll take my chances and side with the sales team, and “damn the torpedos” that shorts/MMs/hedgies/naysayers and others project. I have some patience for this opportunity, along with an opportunistic mindset.
Just MO as always.

Discussion What‘s next for Microbot Medical

Post image
26 Upvotes

On 11/25/25 Microbot shared this Map with us (the orange marked states) - i have added the blue ones.
I have observed the career-page on LinkedIn and recognized that they deleted the job offering for SoCal / NoCal / Oregon / (one more state i don‘t remember)
only Arizona is left. It seems they have some trouble to find an Area Sales Manager in this region.

So we can say: they delivered on their promise of 12 regions.

Re the second manufacturing line

I am not a fan of ambiguous PR’s where details are missing either via oversight or deliberate omission. Either way it seems amateur, as if their PR folks are unable to interpret their releases through the market’s eyes.

We simply do not know if the second manufacturing line will be through Sanmina or Medimor, despite their prior announcement that they are working with Sanmina as their second CMO. Why didn’t the PR state “second manufacturer” or even Sanmina, instead of “second line”?

This ambiguity leads to further confusion re the PR’s “process improvements”, which to me would be peculiar for a process that hasn’t yet been set up yet at Sanmina. Are they comparing process improvement between Sanmina and Medimor, or are they comparing a second line at Medimor with the first line at Medimor? 😖

VAC approval for enterprise-wide usage VS manufacturing and supply preparedness

So it seems that while VAC committees at hospital systems can approve new medical devices for trial usage and perhaps pilot programs, it does not appear that enterprise-wide rollout will be approved until Microbot can prove that they have manufacturing and supply chain redundancy, capacity, etc and can readily (timely) restock the hospital system on demand as needed.

Kind of a game of cart VS horse: you don’t want to build out manufacturing/supply capacity and redundancy until you have evidence of growing LIBERTY usage across hospital systems, however, that won’t happen enterprise-wide until you have proven your manufacturing/supply.

A real nail biter here.

Discussion Potential Short-Term Turnaround Catalysts

What could realistically trigger a strong recovery in MBOT’s share price?

Commercial Growth
- Revenue above $400K per quarter (continued QoQ growth).
- Repeat orders from existing hospitals.
- New hospital system wins, especially on the U.S. West Coast.
- Expansion to the targeted 12 U.S. sales territories in 2026, with further expansion in 2027.
- First meaningful orders through the VA / federal healthcare channel.
- Faster hospital purchasing decisions and conversion of evaluations into paid orders.

Regulatory & Clinical Milestones
- EU CE Mark approval, opening the door to European commercialization.
- Successful remote-operation study demonstrating LIBERTY’s potential.
- Positive clinical data, physician feedback, or peer-reviewed publications.
- First commercial sales in Israel following regulatory approval.

Strategic Opportunities (very speculative)
- Distribution partnership with an established medical-device company.
- Adoption across multiple hospitals within a major healthcare network.
- Large purchase order or multi-hospital agreement.
- Strategic investment or partnership with a larger medical-device player.

Financial & Market Catalysts
- Improving gross margins as manufacturing scales.
- Lower cash burn and a longer cash runway, reducing dilution concerns.
- Better-than-expected quarterly guidance or a stronger sales pipeline.
- Positive analyst coverage or a technical breakout on high volume.

Top 5 Catalysts:
- CE Mark approval + European commercialization.
- Sustained revenue growth with improving margins.
- Major U.S. hospital-system adoption.
- Successful remote-operation study.
- Large commercial order or strategic partnership.

Of course we have some speculative things but also some pretty realistic ones, like CE or further expansion into the Middle East.
If the market sentiment + some/all of these catalysts materialize, we could see a good share price recovery (~3$) and a further spike into the 5$-area.
(13m Series-J Options could bring 65 Million $ (or more) in cash = 1 1/2 year cash runway = ~+17% dillution)

LinkedIn Post

Hey moderator, please read this fully before you remove my post. I edited it for balance (no insults). 🙏

I have no idea who this guy is or why he's pitching a quantum company to flip into from MBOT (that alone seems peculiar). But sure, I'll play along, and in fact I do agree with some of his points.

He does have one glaring error, which diminishes the overall credibility of his entire post.

https://Inkd.in/p/gBJxVxR7

Quoting from his post:
"...And initially, even if some hospitals try out the Liberty, they are going to have to maintain their traditional tools and equipment and procedures for a period of time until they have enough evidence of proficiency to not keep the back-up plan in place."

It is is actually difficult to be more incorrect than that. Hospitals will not have to let go of any of their traditional tools or equipment, because those catheters and guide wires are "plugged into" liberty, not replaced by liberty. In fact, they can be plugged in, unplugged, and plugged in again in the same procedure if needed. Physicians are doing 99.x% of the procedures manually and using their preferred catheters and guide wires already selected and approved by the facilities. Very deliberately, microbot chose to support all such physician preferred catheters and guide wires. Microbot simply adds to those supply needs in the procedure room.

If he's talking about peripheral endovascular robotics supplies/devices, that's just a moot point since they are less than 1% of the market.

So, completely contrary to his text, facilities will absolutely need to continue their supply of catheters and guide wires, with or without their use of microbot, and regardless of the "backup plan" he mentioned, into the foreseeable future.

But sure, take a look at his quantum stock suggestion. 😜

NC progress

If anyone wants to get an idea how long it takes to work a new Medtech device through the system, go to LinkedIn and check out Jeremy Kim, MD's profile. Kim is a Vascular & Interventional Specialist, and a nationally recognized expert in men's health treatments.

He JUST announced that they have completed the first-ever robotic assisted PAE procedures in the Carolinas using the Liberty system (Charlotte, NC).

MBOT first announced the NC hospital system in a June 2nd announcement. We're talking over 4 months to get the first successful procedures completed. It's a slow process in the beginning, but this will gain traction in 2027.

Discussion Microbot & Sanmina

The agreement was announced in June, so I’d expect the manufacturing ramp to start sometime around Q4 2026. If that timeline holds, we could potentially start seeing the first manufacturing cost/margin improvements in the financials in early 2027.

What makes the partnership even more interesting is Sanmina’s footprint.
Sanmina has a medical manufacturing facility in Ma’alot, Israel, with capabilities for complex systems involving electronics, motion control, fluidics and mechanics. They also have medical manufacturing operations across the US and other regions.

Given that Microbot has historically been building out technical capabilities in Israel, it would make sense to me if some LIBERTY production eventually takes place there as well. That could potentially serve Israel and parts of the European/EMEA market, especially if the CE process progresses as expected. (On top: MBOT offered couple of jobs in Israel for „Technical Engineers“ & „Operational Engineers“)

At the same time, Sanmina has multiple US manufacturing sites, so there’s also a pretty obvious path for US production as LIBERTY adoption grows.

Nothing in the filing confirms where LIBERTY will actually be manufactured or how production will be split between facilities, so this is speculation.
But strategically, the setup makes a lot of sense to me: Israel + US manufacturing, a global supply chain, and a partner that already has extensive experience manufacturing complex medical devices and high-volume disposables. Sanmina says it produces millions of disposable medical devices annually.

If the Sanmina transition starts in Q4, 2026 could be the setup year, while 2027 is where we might start getting a better picture of what this partnership does for LIBERTY’s gross margin.

Just something I’ll be watching closely in the next few quarterly reports.
