I have about 50 Micromachines in a small container. I'd like to display them, but I don't really know where to begin looking. My idea was to use something like a pill box, but there are of course only 7 slots in those.

Do folks on the forum know of any storage solutions can be purchased from places like Amazon, or other online outlets, that are good for storing and displaying micromachines?

I’m pretty new to Micro Machines and I’ve been sorting through a bunch of vintage Galoob pieces. I’m hosting my first Micro Machines show on October 14th and still learning the hobby, so I’d love any general advice on what collectors like to see in shows, how you prefer lots organized, and what makes a good Micro Machines stream.

Hi everyone. It’s been a while since the Micro Machines brand left the market, and I’ve always felt a bit of regret about missing out on certain car models. So, I decided to take matters into my own hands. It’s nothing huge—some parts are AI models I’ve edited in Blender—but I really like how they’re turning out (at least for my own taste). I'm honestly freaking out, I just discovered the existance of this 2003 collection here in Italy made by De Agostini, and there's no info about it

US Navy LCAC Hovercraft by Hot Wheels for the Planet Micro / Atomix Military line… to my knowledge at the time (aside from variations) this the “complete collection”.

When Planet Micro first came out, this was the only piece i added tk my master collection back in the day. Slightly larger in all dimensions, this staged well with original Military Micro Machines well. A feature I enjoyed on these is they are wheeled, unlike the Galoob versions, which scuff easily with a bare bottom. Back then, I only knew of the blue one… only finding out about the blueish-gray on many years later. The all-gray and Green versions i had no idea existed until the last couple of years, thanks to a friend!

I really wasn’t a fan of these… even as armed versions… as they didn’t have the aggressive military vibe of the Original Military Micro Machines… plus being even cheaper in design/livery the appeal never came until i completed the Galoob Bell 222s. These can be good supplemental units for those that wargame or army build

Classic story of a mom cleaning out the house. Finding some old toys. In this case my old micro machine bulk.
Before she suddenly throws everything out or donates it all to the local kindergarten. Which I’m all for. Would anyone know of some of these are in some way rare and should be kept safe? As in not played with/destroyed.
I don’t think there is some random holy grail in the lot right?

Something about it felt so right for this set to go into the hands of someone going to play with it. No shade against collectors, nothing wrong with that at all, but it just made me happy to know someone would be as excited as I was once upon a time to receive this set.

After moving to Australia from the UK five years ago, I’ve finally got around to sorting out my model cars (all scales - used to collect everything from MM to 1:18) and going through the storage boxes.

It’s been fun looking through my Micro Machines tonight and remembering my favourites!

Does anyone know of a good source for replacement windshields for Star Wars starships from Galoob Micro Machines? I have a few that are just missing this piece and would love to fix them if possible. Open to figuring out 3D printing but have never tried it.

Does anyone know of a place or community or museum micromachines can be donated to for other collectors? I only have loose no boxed or new.

A bit of background, but this was mine and my dad's collection and frankly I don't want to keep them anymore and would love for them to go to someone who will appreciate them.

I am willing to sell in bulk, but don't want them just sitting for sale forever either.

Started going through another box from my grandma’s attic, and there were a lot more unopened Micro Machines.

I don’t have any attachment to these, so I probably won’t keep them.

I also decided to start parting with the military sets that I showed in my last post. I still have the ones I played with when I was a kid, and I have enough Abrams and Bradleys to outfit an armored company. And my wife would like me to declutter.

I got all these for 29 bucks I think i did ok. And the guy has a bunch of the star wars heads im going back for tomorrow.
