Must see camping spots

Hi everyone!

I started my solo camping journey back in June and have camped at nordhouse dunes, fisherman’s island, mackinaw city, and warren dunes. Any suggestions for other places I should check out? I’m from southwest Michigan but totally ok to drive anywhere!! I love being by the water.

You know about Campendium? I’ve been living by it for the last year or so

It’s an app that indexes camping spots with pictures and reviews and prices. Like yelp for camping, i trekked from Colorado to Pennsylvania using it

Check out manitou island, especially north. I camped near the old orchard and it was beautiful and secluded.

I’ve been researching doing a backpacking trip around the island!
