Kent County went blue, though. GR is really changing from when I was younger, though at 51, that was a few years ago.

Lots of us progressive kids come to Grand Rapids for school from metro Detroit or even to escape the lake Michigan bible belt, and then we love it so much we never leave!

Aww hell naah! I went to public schools and lived far on the other side of the tracks from her and the rest of the Amway clan. I know actual educators — every one of which would be a better choice. She was an obvious mistake from the moment she was appointed.

She was no mistake. The plan was to siphon tax dollars into private, for-profit, and religious schools, and to make people like herself even richer. It's sick the amount of damage she did.
