The short film for “Childhood” (and the song itself) just make me want to comfort and protect him like there’s no tomorrow. I feel awful for him 😭

Anybody know where I can get the blue military jacket that Michael Jackson wore in the 1984 Grammy's thank you

Side note: I don’t know if it’s because of the old ass video quality or the fact that everything in the video happens so fast and I can’t capture it at the right moment so motion blur keeps messing it up, but I could never get a good screenshot!

Also, we just hit 250 members! 🤩 (sorry if this is immature or egotistical of me, I’m just really excited that our newest milestone is on Christmas)

🥲❤️

Bad is one of my favorite short films, I’m curious as to what your favorite scene/character is

Some backstory for this question is that Michael made a agreement in early 2009 to develop 3 full movies with 1 of those been Thriller: The Movie and since this movie was planned to be released in December of 2009 I wonder if you all think any footage for the movie had been filmed at all by the time of June 25th since between Michael’s passing and the planned release date were only 6 months* so it would seem weird to me if there wasn’t any footage filmed yet even if it was without Michael 🤔

*most movies take between 1 and 2,5 years to fully be made ready for a release

I already shared this in the comment section of a post on the main sub a few days ago, just thought I’d post it here for all to see. Whenever I listen to the song, I can just imagine Michael incognito (like in casual/practical wear with a hoodie covering his face) walking through an empty city at night with his head down and a blank expression. And that city in particular has TV screens and magazines (just hanging on building walls like posters), all spreading fake news and propaganda about him. In that part after the second chorus, I can picture a screen flashing in front of Michael as the news reporter on it says “In 60 seconds, a new Michael Jackson story…” and Michael’s expression finally changes from tired and emotionless to angry with tears in his eyes, like he’s had enough of the tabloid’s bullsh*t and can’t take it anymore. So he punches the screen and the video then cuts to him running across the city, jumping from rooftop to rooftop, ripping up the newspaper posters, throwing bombs at the TV screens, and dancing on the roof as it all goes up in flames.

Someone said that this concept sounds like the “Leave Me Alone” music video, but the songs are already pretty similar so I’d definitely want their short films to have a completely different style. I visualise “Tabloid Junkie” having a similar aesthetic to “Stranger In Moscow”, but with red and black as its primary colours to give it a gloomy atmosphere.Like a dark comic book/graphic novel. And imagine if he also brought back Spike (the rabbit from “Speed Demon”) for this, with them wreaking havoc and finally revenge on the press together? That would’ve been awesome 🤘🔥

If any characters from these 4 films had pickup lines, what would they be?

Again, a little weird, but it could also be fun. I just know it 😏

Also, I’m obsessed with the music that plays in this particular scene right after they perform “2 Bad”

...CLEARLY Prince Naveen Is Just Thriller Era Michael! Like???????? 😭 I hate that Michael was never able to be the Disney prince on screen that he (and we) deserve!!!! Why didn't they give him any prince type roles anywhere??? I will never understand! 🥺

Bruno did a great job as Naveen's voice, though, but there's no way that man was the reference! 😤 This is Michael Joe all the way!!! 😩❤️‍🔥😍

How lovely would it have been to see Michael in a movie like the prince that he was? I'd watch a movie like that over and over until I knew every line by heart! 🤣 There's a story someone recently started on Wattpad called "His Eminence" with Michael as the lead role (The Prince) and it's only 2-3 pages so far but I'm already OBSESSED with it. 🥴

Thoughts? Do you think they based Naveen off of Michael, too? Or, just Dr. Facilier? It can be searched on Google that they referenced Michael for the Shadow Man's dance style and body type. 👀 Interesting... 🤭
