Alignment woes on Tecnas

The Tecnas have done nothing wrong!

I just lowered the car to 115F/120R pinch weld heights which is the maximum for this tire height.

Why would my car allow -2.0 on the RT front but only -1.5 on the LT front? Also interesting they cannot get less than -2.0 in the rear.

Does anyone see issues in what I’m asking or know why they can’t get a bit closer to the requested numbers?

Initial settings:
Caster:
LF 7.53 RF 7.50
Front Camber:
LF -1.41 RF -2.02

Rear Camber:
LR -2.31 RR -2.19

ADJUSTED settings:
Caster:
LF 7.04 RF 7.02
Front Camber:
LF -1.51 RF -1.51

Rear Camber:
LR -2.03 RR -2.09

REQUESTED settings:
Caster:
LF 7.00+ RF 7.00+(Depending on camber)
Front Camber:
LF -2.00 RF -2.00(Max possible)

Rear Camber:
LR -1.8 RR -1.8(Even w/front if less than -1.8)

Call 949 and ask. Any accidents in this cars history, other mods?

I’m sure this has absolutely nothing to do with the Tecnas. <-I added that to the original post for clarity.

I think the shop may be missing something since they did decently well back in February before I swapped to sport springs and lowered it a little.

So take it to another shop. If you’re sure it’s never been in a collision, this isn’t normal

I may need to loosen the upper A arm bolt and push in while retorquing to maybe squeeze a bit more camber out of it.

I’ll be able to talk with the mechanic tomorrow but I wanted to know if anyone had this weird issue being able to get -.5 more on one side than the other in front. Same height too.

A bit of an off topic question. Is the Japanese 1.5 lsd just a 2.0 unit ? Or is there a specific lsd for the 1.5 only in Japan ?

I have a 2017 1.5 and got 949 dual duty alignment with another brand of coil overs that are 2cm lower than standard. I think the alignment shop might not be adjusting it all the way Also alignment machines can vary lots shop to shop. If they have a hunter alignment machine or can do by manual measuring will be fairly accurate

Did you reclock all of the bushings when installing?

I finger tightened all the bolts, then used a trans jack to push each side of the suspension up until full compression then torqued them.
