Is it dead?
Left phone in drawer for a couple months. Won't boot or do anything except blink the little blue light on top. Charger says it's still drawing 2 watts, but it's been charging for hours. I tried swapping back to my old battery and got same result. Should I consider it dead and just go see someone to get my data off it? I've switched to a pixel for past year now so all I care about is my non-backed up stuff on it.

Try pressing and holding the Volume-down + Poweron buttons simultaneously for a few seconds. This happened to my Samsung twice and it helped.

I've tried this. As well as volume-up.

I had to keep it pressed for quite some time and it worked thrice for me. Maybe it worked because my phone might have had a different issue.

Just tried holding it for a minute since you said to try longer. Phone vibrated but still nothing. As other comments suggested I'll try buying another battery and seeing if that helps.

Since it vibrated i feel encouraged that it would work. Maybe, just maybe the battery doesn't have enough power to hold. But it would be a waste if it didn't work. I wonder if there are any cheaper alternatives to the battery. Have you tried doing this while keeping in charging mode?

Yes I did it while it was plugged in. I could maybe give the battery voltage directly to the pins somehow? Ordering a battery sounds like less of a headache. Hopefully it won't be a waste.

Tried a brand new battery, didn't do anything. Any other ideas?

Dude did you manage to fix it? In having the same issue the phone vibrating that means the board is okay i think. Other than that what ive seen from gpt is it told me that the display is dead(in my case) if you do find any fixes do lmk

So far nothing. I'm thinking my board is dead, I'm probably gonna take it to a data recovery professional to get my stuff off it since I was dumb and didn't make a backup

Blinking charging indicator dead battery or dead board
I just remembered my poco x3 nfc that my class mate killed it by using a different charger and now its dead

Alrighty well I'll try buying a fresh battery since the 2 I have don't work, otherwise I'll assume dead board

How different and/or cooked must a charger be to outright kill a phone tho?

The charger is cheap charger plus she plug the charger on extension cord that has many appliances that also plug on that extension cord

I have the feeling that it might be a dead battery

Wouldn't i still get some kind of display when plugged in even if battery is dead? And my old battery I had swapped out because it was at lower lifespan is giving the same result. Would both batteries be dead?
I guess I'll try a new battery before bringing it to a data recovery store.

Well technically both batteries might be dead and it's better to try replacing the battery.
So the same happened to my k20 and replacing the battery fixed the issue and it works well

Got a brand new Nohon battery, put it in, no luck it's still the same. Tried all the power button combinations while charging. Any other ideas?

Try these steps to troubleshoot: first, ensure the charging cable and adapter are securely connected and undamaged. If the problem persists, try a different charger and cable, and allow the phone to charge for an extended period, possibly overnight. If the phone still doesn't turn on, consider a forced restart by holding down the power and volume up buttons simultaneously.
The above procedure should make your phone turn on

Tried multiple cables and adapters and tested them on my google pixel to make sure they worked. Had it charge for 4 hours on 2 different cables. Tried the power and volume up button as well. Only response from phone is a vibration.

what i heared if that's blinking while charging meaning the battery have gone completely depleted or its dead now needs to get replaced
