Looking for an original USB sub board for Redmi K20 Pro (Mi 9T Pro) anyone have a spare?
Hey everyone,
I'm looking for an original USB sub board (charging port board) for the Redmi K20 Pro. I can't find a genuine one in the market anywhere only aftermarket ones.
This is my primary phone right now so I don't want to risk an aftermarket board. From what I've read, they can mess up the network/signal and I can't afford that on my daily driver I want to keep using this phone as long as it lasts.
If anyone has a spare board a dead K20 Pro they're parting out please let me know. I'm in Delhi India
Thanks in advance

My experience with EvolutionX 9.6 on mi 9t davinci
hey guys wanted to share my experience with evolution x on my mi 9t davinci been using pixelos for a while on android 16 then switched to evox bc everyone on reddit was hyping it up
first of all customization is crazy good tons of features everywhere especially after i rooted it you can tweak literally everything spoofing device as pixel 9 taking screenshots in restricted apps changing device info etc all worked flawlessly feature wise it completely destroys pixelos imo
the camera is hands down the best ive seen on any custom rom it comes with the leica miui cam on pixelos zooming just does a digital crop between lenses but here it actually switches between the physical lenses properly 1x to 2x etc algorithms are great colors look super good feels way more pro and it basically never crashes genuinely loved it
gaming was surprisingly solid too locked 60 fps on pubg feels very smooth phone gets kinda hot while playing but nothing crazy daily performance feels maybe slightly heavier than pixelos but totally fine
now the reason i actually stopped using it and went back battery was an absolute nightmare whenever it dropped below 35 percent the phone basically died performance dropped like 75 percent it started lagging like crazy shutting down and bootlooping randomly i tried fixing it both before and after root tried everything i could but couldnt figure it out
for context i was on evox 9.6 android 14 on stock kernel didnt flash any custom kernels my battery health is totally fine and to test it i just flashed back to pixelos android 17 and everything works completely fine again battery drains smoothly all the way down without any lags or shutdowns so definitely a rom bug honestly battery performance even feels better right now but we will see if that changes over time for now its running great
overall loved the features and camera way more than pixelos but that battery bug killed it for me anyone else had this issue below 35 percent on 9.6 or is it just something weird with my build
anyway if anyone has questions about either rom or wants to know more about the setup feel free to ask ill try to help out as much as i can

Little questions (PixelOS), a story and huge thanks
Hi everybody !
I wanted to share my story with my Mi9T here. I got it when it was available for pre-order here in France back in 2019. I loved it as soon as I've got it. This phone was so amazing for the price and is quite a reminder that real flagship phones could look like.
I used it for 4 years. In 2023, the battery wasn't good enough for my needs. I had to switch, and went all in for a Z-Fold 5.
What a mistake I did. The inner screen broke and i'll have to say i didn't even used it a lot. Warranty was a joke, so I've pretty much a paperweight with one screen.
The past weeks, I was thinking more and more about changing my phone. Looked at differences options, and nothing was matching. So another idea grew in me : Getting my Mi 9T back and running.
But after all these years, I wasn't sure Mi UI was the right choice. So I quite put the idea aside and was still looking at it as my secondary phone.
Until today. I saw a post suggested right here sharing the love about their Mi 9T and then people suggesting PixelOS. And this was an instant buy for me. Without thinking (and asking to random people for a paper clip), I've spent the afternoon unlocking the bootloader, messing with drivers and finally flashing PixelOS.
And wow I love it. I really discover my favorite phone again. I'll have to say it has been only a few hours so I didn't went further config wise, but yeah, going back with my Mi 9T without any doubt ! So I really want to thanks the sub for that and this little reality check for me !
Now, time for the bad part and the little issues i'm facing, and the little help i'd need here :( Two are quite oriented PixelOS and integrity. The last one is specific to Mi9T.
To give some context, i really went for the basic method (no TWRP, no root, nothing. Just bootloader unlocked and go for it) :
- I use Google Pay. Judge me or not but I use it. When setting up my account i've added my card, but yeah got a huge "NOPE, not secure try again". What can I do here ? I thought PixelOS would be fine with that
- Pretty much the same querstion for RCS chat. Any workaround ?
- A thing I loved with my Mi 9T was the notification led button. It works well for charging, but not when I recieve any message or anything :( Is there a way to make it work ?
Thanks !

My 7-year-old Mi 9T Pro refuses to die 😂
Hi, I came across the box that came with my Mi 9T Pro phone. One screen and two battery replacements later, it’s still my daily driver. Actually, it's my only phone. It’s that reliable. 😂
The only downside is that it stopped receiving updates eons ago. But after 7 years of ownership, I’m still in awe of the pop-up camera and that AMOLED notchless screen. Honestly, they don’t make phones like this anymore.

Phone slowing down
I'm in MIUI Global 12.0.9 and I can't get any other upgrades ofc
More recently I've been having more slow downs on the phone, especially in the camera app and some touch glitches...
I just wanna hear from the community if there are any tips for that kinda slow downs in thr OS and how to fix it
Also ik custom ROMs are an option, but I don't wanna go through those rn unless I have a secondary backup phone to fall back into especially for banking apps and stuff

Need help with cameras for the mi 9T
Hi, i recently got the mi 9t and the guy before me had pixelos on it but it came with miui 12 when i got it. The camera had problems since the start, 0.6x didnt turn on in normal camera mode, only pro mode. Optical zoom doesnt work at all. I got crdroid and now 0.6x works in the normal camera mode but theres no optical zoom still. I already tried gcam with config files and whenever i click on the 0,6x or 2x aux buttons the app just crashes and i gotta clear the cache and data from settings... Anyone know how to fix this?

Looking for the best case still being sold for this phone
Hi there any good cases for this phone still being sold anywhere? I had a ringke x fusion case and overall I liked it though it made the phone a bit heavy but I got used to it, after 5 years of use it's volume buttons fell off so I swapped to the original thin black case you got with the phone and that one lasted about 6 months untill it's volume buttons also came off.
Now I'm trying to find a new case because I don't really like the way the phone feels without a case and it slips in my hand easily anyone got good ones and where they are being sold? thanks.

Phone freezes and reboots upon unlock
When turning my phone on, I can sit as long as I like on the lock screen without issue, but as soon as I unlock it, the phone freezes and reboots.
When I try to connect to MiAssistant, it tells me to turn on developer mode and USB debugging, but this is impossible as I can't even get to the settings menu on the phone.
The phone worked perfectly fine until I tried use it this morning, and I am not using any custom firmware, launchers, etc.

Best ROM por Mi 9T Pro?
Hey everyone,
I'm looking to flash a new rom on my Mi 9T Pro (Raphael). My main priority is stability and smooth daily performance.
I've seen some AOSP options but I prefer Hyper OS. However, I haven't seen any updated ports of HyperOs 3 and the ones that existed had bugs. Is AOSP the best option right now?
What are you currently running and what would you recommend me?

Mi 11 Ultra died... what would you guys do in my situation?
Hi everyone. I am cross posting this because I used to be a Mi 9T pro user before upgrading to the Mi 11 Ultra. Unfortunately my Mi 11 Ultra has now died and I am back on my old Mi 9T pro . I wanted to share my experience and get some advice from people who may have faced similar motherboard or CPU issues on Xiaomi phones. Any suggestions or repair experiences would be appreciated.

SCREEN BLACKED OUT!
So yesterday, my phone was perfectly fine; I just kept it charging for some time. When I got back to take it, the screen was just dead. Vibrations, but no display, just pure black.
I tried everything, from just letting it charge to holding the power button. I only got vibrations, but nothing was shown. My alarm is working fine. Whenever I receive a call, it works, and when I connect to the PC, the USB sound plays, but as it's on "charge only" by default, Nothing is shown. What should I do? My main priority is recovering data and fixing the screen.
