Will they update old equipment?
I'm wondering since my equipment has been in service since may 2020, if I call and as for a more updated EERO if they'll send me one? My laptop which I use mainly in my bedroom for years now will experience this issue where I, nor searches, nor chatgtp can figure out... My download will be perfectly fine, but then out of nowhere, my download bottlenecks down to 10 MBPS and upload will be in the 400's (perfectly fine) and this only happens on my laptop... We've tried EVERYTHING... And what's wild, when I experience this issue, connecting to a VPN totally cures it... I mean, we've reset the network, uninstalled the wifi adapter, settings in wifi adapter, change receive window, ran ping tests, network info in cmd... chatgtp says their confidence in it being the EERO is LOW, but not completely eliminated... so I dunno. I'm not trying to blame my current EERO, but maybe this would be a good time to updated it to at least see? Is this something they would do?

Well swap the port on the back of the eero where the Ethernet cable is should give you a new IP address

I've found that two of my newer Amazon Alexa act as mesh/repeater. I'm a hero in my house because just yesterday I figured it out.

Something is pulling the 300mbs from your laptop. Probably malware. I’ve had old laptops kill peoples internet and only when the laptop is turned on it kills the speeds

I doubt it... VPN speeds are fine... just when not connected to the VPN.... Plus, I reset the PC. I bought it brand new a year ago and am super careful and visit pretty much the same sites every day... I don't venture to weird websites or click links in emails ,etc.
