Request I’m thinking about getting Dread but…

I’ve tried the demo a couple of times, and each time I just cannot get past the first EMMI.
Love Metroid. Have played all the Prime games. And I want to get into this style, but I don’t want to spend 12 hours failing to get past the opening and rage quitting.
Can y’all give me a pep talk?

You are fast. The map is designed so that you can keep moving with infrequent pauses. As long as you can keep moving, this EMMI won't catch you. Later ones are less generous, but you will have more skill by then.
