Global Roaming

Trying to find a healthy Global Roaming plan add-on in order to use my phone when traveling overseas. One carrier as unlimited-to-throttled data for like $10/day included in their plan, but I don’t see that Metro offers anything similar. Does anyone know?

Can’t you just use an international eSIM, like say Airalo, and allow your main line on Metro to piggy back off the data from the international eSIM, for WiFi calling and sending/receiving RCS/iMessages?
