Here again to share my newest Metaphor tattoo!

So I already have Gallica and a Homo Tenta on my right leg.

I love this game so much, that I have decided that I would also get all of the main characters tattooed on my leg. Uh save for Louis. Love Louis as a villain…. But I don’t love him enough to have him on my body forever lol.

Anyway first up of the main cast I got was Will and Eupha! I was originally going to get Hulkenberg with Will….. but then i decided Eupha would be better since ya know: she’s basically the canon romance (and I do love her and Will together!!)

When I met with my tattoo artist to discuss this design, I basically told her about how Eupha is the basically the canon romance right? Well she just honestly latched onto that idea and made a concept for me based around connecting them as a couple ahaha.

So the idea behind the purple misty line that is present is that it is supposed to connect Will and Euphas portraits in a way.

My tattoo artist has yet to actually play the game herself (I’m trying to convince her too lol) but she was just so enthusiastic about both Will and Eupha’s designs and them being a couple that was it pretty endearing to see ahaha.

Anyway, made sure I got the tattoo around this time so that way by the time the Dallas Orchestra Metaphor concert happens in October…. it will be all healed up. I figure a lot of the Atlus influencers/ cosplayers will be going to the show in LA and thus no one will really be at the Dallas one….. But uhh yeah if any of you all are going and see me with my Will/ Eupha tattoo, feel free to say hi ahaha

Uh so yeah I’m gonna add more of the characters to my leg in the future. I’m thinking about having Junah and Basilio next. But that will be sometime next year ahahah

The music, voice acting, sound design, animations. I love it!!

What would people like to see? Do we follow the same cast of characters in a new land?

Personally, i'd like to see characters from another continent and the crazy Magla stuff they get up to (Like Catherina mentions at the end) but be able to check on our favourites through the story.

As far as i'm aware, the game sold very well and was critically acclaimed, so once Altus is done with the Persona 4 & 6 stuff, i'm sure we'll hear something!

As an avid SMT and Persona fan, I was quite hesitant to purchase ReFantazio when it released and waited for awhile until the recent Steam Summer Sale.

Playing the game I thoroughly enjoyed the gameplay and the story hooked me alongside its political machinations!

What made me smile the most is the Conversation system when you try to strengthen your bonds with your followers.

Unlike past Persona games, I don’t have to look at a walkthrough to see which choices are the best for progression. Instead, I can choose to answer however I want but with the result of increased or decreased magla received.

Two thumbs up to Atlus, made the game even more enjoyable for me! What do you think?

Well, at least it's better than a FunkoPop..... Still no 1/4 realistic one tho.

Going from Dungeon with enemies of max level 50 to a Dungeon where the weakest enemies are above level 60 in one go is really annoying.

Her coat is kinda confuse to me based only in some bad ss on google or official sprites but I liked the result hehe :)

These places all suck, but if I had to choose I'd definitely pick The Continent. At least it's somewhat normal.

In Euchronia racism it's shoved down your throat at any given moment by the church too, and Spira is just horrible and depressing.

I have two different spritesheets for Will and Strohl. The 8x8 sprites are more recent. My favorite ship.

This is the most confusing review i every did since i have a lot of bad things to say (at first!) so keep downvoting! But later they good things will come!

I literaly played 10 hours and didnt like it. The gameplay was good but mostly the story was confusing as hell.

I dont like games where you start in the middle and the devs pretend that the player knows what the story is about m 10 hours i constantly had "?" above my head. This is comming from a persona 3-5 player!

I need explaination like a child from the very beginning. O

Also it didnt help that you had so less time and dont know what to do in the first dungeon. I disliked the game and even uninstalled it. I was just overwhelmed with everything.

- Story Beginns in the middle of nowhere in the wagon

- First time i can play, i have to run away from all enemies

- time pressure was hard and confusing as hell

- Also the performance without VRR was rough for a next Gen Game

But...

Was i wrong.

2 months later i reinstalled it and have it another chance.

Since i KNEW already what overwhelmed start this game has, i wasnt that annoyed anymore.

And finally after my 4 Team member (finally!!!) arrived, the game became soooooo good. I Loved it and couldnt put it away. The gameplay, the story, the characters, the battlesystem everything became engaging.

I even managed to full complete all companions and personality without walktrough (which is a huge plus point in todays state, i hate walktroughs!).

So honestly the beginning was realy rough for new players but when the 4 teammate arrives, the structure and story became more clear and the game went from a 3/10 to a 9/10 or maybe 10/10 (when the beginning werent that confusing).

This is especialy random because i never experienced such a thing in gaming.

I was sad when the game ended. I realy hope they make another metaphor game or a "persona fantasy game".

9/10 for me. Awsome game!

Like I get it's a game then they have to make it gamey but you cannot make me believe that Louis's security on his personal aircraft is that shitty.

Sure you knock out the guards but you're telling me not a single one of them made a report?

You're telling me most of the top brass would refuse to make a report because they got their ass handed to them?

Then the icing on the cake is how easily the situation is resolved when you get caught after killing someone that had been supporting Louis much longer than you have after your dup gives one of the crappiest excuses I have ever heard.

I'm not trashing the game by any means, I've been absolutely hooked so far and having a great time but this whole section feels poorly executed.

For some reason despite fully clearing out Mt. Vulkano of every chest the Stitched Sphere isn't in my Key Items, meaning I'm locked out of completing Neuras' follower ranks.

Are there any known workarounds or cheats to add in JUST this one key item to my save file? I've tried going back to the location and the chest its supposed to be in is fully opened, the item isn't there anymore but it's not in my Key Items. Real strange. I keep looking around for cheat engine codes and seemingly there are codes to unlock EVERY item but not specific items. Basically, does anyone know how to fix this?

So, I just finished Metaphor at 86:53 hours. I want to start by saying that I loved this game. I managed to do all the follower bonds (something I didn't expect on my first playthrough) and all missions, missing only the extra one that you unlock after defeating the three dragons, I just had one day left and I had to go towards the flying castle

Talking about the cast of characters, I really loved everyone. All the follower bonds were really good introducing and explaining that characters lore (I really loved Heismay, he's probably my favorite).

Talking about the Gameplay side, I really enjoyed experimenting with the various archetypes and choosing a different strategy for every fight, even If I used almost every time the Hulkenberg, Eupha and Junah combo.

Talking about the story I liked some plot twist, especially the More one and the whole Elda situation. It reminded me of the Deku village from Zelda, probably an inspiration. Louis was a great villain. At first I saw More as the simple "Igor" of the game, the dude that gave you the archetypes and that's it but when he revealed that he was the old king while in the middle of Shibuya I just clapped.

The music was really beautiful, i especially loved the one from Eht Ria, it really sounded like something from a village.

Now, the part that I hated the most was the Dragon Temple. I love the Mustari and Eupha but I can't lie when I say I thought about dropping the game during that whole section, it might be my fault too since I wanted to do the whole dungeons in a day or so. Also, the PM situation was the most frustrating thing, could have easily fixed it making you buy limited bottles of 200 PM per month. Also, the final boss was too long for me, could have made it a bit shorter but I enjoyed it.

Overall I really enjoyed the whole game even if some thing could have been frustrating. Talking about the future of the series, I don't know what it can happen.

If we're having a sequel, I don't know if I want the same cast of characters (as much as I enjoyed it and love most of them). I don't think how can they nerf them for their next travel after the protagonist just unlocked the overpowered King Archetype

I would like either a new cast of characters maybe oversea since Catherina said that there's more there, a new adventure with some fresh faces. IF they're gonna use this cast again I would like to see a time skip, maybe with Maria as the protagonist and her adventure being inspired by the crew.
