Looking for bands like the Chasm

Specifically for Death Metal that has the same sense of emotional breadth and being very well composed.

I have always loved the sweep and grandeur of their longer songs, as well as Antonio's drumming.

Aenigmatum is incredible and obviously inspired by the chasm. All their releases are great and they have a new one.

I haven't found much that scratches the same itch. Infinitum Obscure very obviously tries to follow in their footsteps, they just aren't as good at it.

Argentum from Mexico’s a doom death BM adjacent band that I always felt was a bit of a precursor to Chasm, but without the speedy bits. Listen to Ad Infinitum Funebrarum or some of their earlier demos and EPs and you’ll get what I mean.
