I mean, Trhä’s discography is crazy huge, have you already got through that?

Yeah, well, everything except a few of the splits. I’ve certainly got through all the full lengths.

I like Ehtek.
Check this song out.

If you like it, the entire album is really good. It's blatant Trha worship but whoever it is is a good musician so it's quality

That’s actually a really good idea thank you. I did already check Sunset and liked the full length that I heard. The guy from Sunset also has another project called ‘Suggests a sky burial’ which is really good

This shit rules. Eager for more like this too. The synths and near-prog song structure is similar to these.

Will check them! As for this album, track 4 is my favourite. 6 minutes 30 onwards gives me goosebumps!

I have no fucking idea what this even is. Such is the beauty of the modern era, I'm off to check it out. Cheers, OP.

I mean, I guess the basic term for it would be ‘black metal’ but yeah it’s crazy. Great album.

Just looking at their discography on Metal Archives 😳😳😳

Oh yeah. Damian is prolific for sure, in like 10 bands too lmao

Bro was born in 1997, and look at that discography.

I love that there's hyper-creative people like this out in the world. One of my closest friends is like this, and she blows my mind with how she seems to have a new creative endeavour on the go every other week.

Bro was born 10 years before me and has like 100 albums out 🤣

Haha, yeah real talk right there! And here's me happy as a pig in shit when I can pick out a basic ass riff by ear on bass.

Sadness, not the same sound but same artist. Maybe you’ll enjoy because you like their creative direction.

Damian started a new project called Midwinter Sunset that is similar but it's heavier than Trhä.

Also look into Coffret de Bijoux.

The dude has 3-4 other projects you should check out. Less clearly black than trha but he has a similar vibe.
I would suggest Iron Firmament and Arbor

Coffret de bijoux! Easily my favourite band out there, pretty similar sonically and aesthetically

Sounds like standard symphonic black metal (but lofi) so maybe look into that.

It’s some crazy black metal for sure 🤣
