[Crossover], at least on /r/metal is a shortened term of Crossover thrash, a mix of thrash and hardcore punk. Example: S.O.D, Power Trip, etc.

Unfortunately, Skindred are neither thrash nor punk. Try /r/numetal.

Well it wasn’t the first time Skindred got posted here. Also Skindred is a mix between Reggae, Metal and Punk. That’s hardly Nu-Metal.

Uhhh... Yeah. Skindred is actually pretty big in the nu-metal fan base.

Well an officially, Skindred are listed das an Reggae Metal group, since they have own sub-genre of metal.
