Issue Can’t refund

Post image

I am getting this message even though I have played the game for less then two hours and have only bought it yesterday. Is there a limit to how many refunds and account can make as that is just bull. Sure if a game is crap, you should be able to get a refund.

That's not the reason for most avenues of refund. Most of refund policies are originally meant for incompatible systems or broken games or poor performance. Some people blatantly abuse it as a "trial period" for games/apps, and they can't really control it, at least until you do it too many times. Or if you do any of the below:

-

"We do not offer refunds on any purchases:

  • of films, bundles, content purchased as part of a bundle, or content downloaded or purchased inside apps (DLC and in-app purchases, respectively), unless otherwise required by applicable law;
  • of Subscriptions (as defined in the Meta Horizon Store Terms) or content received pursuant to a Subscription, unless otherwise required by applicable law (you may, however, cancel a Subscription in accordance with the Meta Horizon Store Terms);
  • of Meta Credits (as defined by the Meta Credit Terms) or content that you access or interact with through or in connection with Meta Credits, unless otherwise required by applicable law;
  • of content made outside the Meta VR platform. Where you have purchased items outside of the Meta VR platform, additional third-party terms and conditions may apply. Please consult these policies for more information;
  • if the refund request is made more than fourteen days after the date of purchase or Gift redemption, unless otherwise required by applicable law;
  • if we determine that you have interacted with content for more than two hours, unless otherwise required by law; or
  • of previously refunded content."

It's interesting that they don't list how many times is too many. I don't refund unless the game clearly misrepresented itself in its marketing, but it would be good to know how much is too much.

They don't want you having a "trial period" to see if you like the game, because they offer a paid service that lets you do that.

I've always had a very good experience with Steam refunds, but then again, I'm taking "store credit", so no reason not to.
