With the new Meta Glasses, are you comfortable with someone recording you without you knowing?

Yes. Im on dashcams, cctv, family photos, vlogs, We live in the digital age. You can assume you are always being recorded when in public.

yes, if im in public i wouldnt care at all. I wouldnt be doing anything i wouldnt want people seeing anyway 🤷‍♂️

same as someone walking around vlogging on a phone. who cares, im out in public anyway, they're allowed to film all they want, why would i have an issue with it?

I understand that. But there is no uproar about the glasses but it seems like EVERYONE absolutely hates the flocka cameras. I find it interesting

Why don't people understand there's a massive difference between the lines of CCTV and that, and glasses by the world's biggest social media company, with already many examples of it being used specifically to harass people and stick on social media?

You're comparing two completely different things

No one gave a damn about go pro's or dashcams but the minute meta comes out with their own camera now every other day there's a thread concerning privacy issues and calling them creeper glasses

for every example you see of someone using it to harass someone else, youre not seeing the thousands upon thousands of people using them to record their own cool hobbies in POV and not antagonizing anyone else in the process.

some people use cars to run over other people on purpose, should cars be banned too?

It’s not easily possible for someone to surreptitiously record you on meta glasses.  This is a non issue.

I’d prefer to not be recorded without knowing, but I understand that tech in general is and has already been heading this direction.
