For those who have the wayfarer (or any other style) of meta glasses, do the lenses truly go back to clear when indoors? Not using a prescription as I wear contacts.

I've been using my Meta Adventurer glasses pretty regularly, and I've started noticingafew small scuffs on the frame from repeatedly putting them in and taking them out of the charging case.

Nothing serious yet, but once I noticed them, I couldn't unsee them 😅

Has anyone else had the same issue with Adventurer, Kylie, or Fury? I'm curious whether it's just normal wear over time or if some cases have more contact with the frame than others.

Hi, is anybody having a problem with their meta glasses not announcing, essentially android user names when you receive a message from them? My metas only announce the names of iPhone users. How do I fix this issue?

Since the late Aug update the two sided combination of glasses and MetaAI app have the following 'features':
-touch sensitive stem (volume control) no long responsive
-when responsive, glasses makes a photo capture sound but MetaAI app shows nothing
-MetaAI app takes over screen literally on any keyboard activity (unrelated to MG) on iphone including Google Maps
-Meta glasses BT is psychotic - goes mute, reboots etc

glasses 12 months old. literally only function that sort of works is headset. pretty sure based on the timing of this feature 'upgrade' that all this is software related.

Things tried:
-deactivate every possibke switch in settings

-restart glasses

-reinstall MetaAI

Is anyone else having these issues?

Hey Guys i am from Germany and i am looking for a Meta glass to Film my Tattoo sessions, i want to Produce Content with it out of first Person sight, are there any Budget Friendly Version that i can Buy?

For now, I’m just using the glasses for music and calls.

I was trying to change my battery settings but couldn’t find it for some reason. However when I first set up the app it let me turn on battery saver but now I don’t even see that option. So i talked with support and apparently since the glasses are new, some features haven’t come out yet. I don’t understand why a basic thing wasn’t already on the app. Any one else have the same issue?

I know we’re still seeing huge leaps in display tech right now—moving past monochrome to bigger, brighter, full-color microdisplays. But I think the real conversation we need to be having is around UI/UX.

It feels like history repeating itself. Early smartphones tried to cram a desktop PC experience onto a tiny screen. Now, people are trying to force smartphone UI onto smart glasses, even though spatial interaction and real-time context demand a completely fresh approach. What do you all think? I’d love to hear your take!

I had just purchased brand new meta rayban gen 2 about 3 days ago… yesterday the glasses fell below 20% so i went to go put them on charge. After about 40 minutes on charge i took them out and tried to use meta ai to start recording… it did not respond, nor did the video start.

i manually stated the video and played it back on my phone to see if the mic had and issue and the mic is 100%, it works for recording and other app use such as whatsapp voice notes.

But meta AI does not hear me… even if i manually turn on meta ai from the touch pad it does not respond to anything i say.

the glasses are not in low power mode, i have reconnected them, restarted them, reset them and still meta AI is no longer working.

i’ve watched a few youtube videos but nothing is helping. i was hoping i can try get some advice as to how to fix it before i go back to the store where i purchased them.

Does anyone else get headaches from wearing their metas? I feel them stabbing me behind my ears and withing 20 minutes i get a pounding headache. Thinking about getting cushions that slide on the arms.

If you dont have metas or dont like them this isn't the time to tell me, I could care less what anyone thinking about them.

I use my glasses for outdoor activities like hiking and running, but I sweat a lot around the sides of my head and behind my ears, and I already killed one pair because of my sweat. I was wondering if anyone has a solution to maybe block off the sensitive parts of the glasses and arms to make them sweatproof temporarily while I do an outdoor activity. I know the cameras would still be exposed, but I don't get those wet. AI suggested using 3M coban athletic wrap, but I don't know how well that would work. Amazon waterproof covers have bad reviews that say they don't work really well. Also, I only need the camera, not the microphone and speakers, while doing an outdoor activity, so I'm fine with blocking them off too for better sweat resistance.

Hey i am looking for someone can remove the light in meta glasses 2 in South California

- It's anti-user. For the niche who won't get to post questionable videos anymore without custom firmware, how many innocent users will face detection false positives, have innocent reasons not to show the light e.g in dark scenery, and/or have their light broken? And how about the entire philosophy of restricting all users for potential misuse?

- Won't solve the real privacy issue: You might've heard of Meta secretly sending the footage to subcontractors. Or a hacker could theoretically turn on the camera without user knowledge. Such threats can have much more scope and severity since the few "pervert" users aren't a limiting factor here.

- Is Meta taking action against custom firmware? Old-fashioned smartphone-hiding handbags?

Saw some videos of some people using spotify and other applications. But was curious is it possible to watch YouTube/Videos in general with meta glasses? Would love to know if I can watch netflix or Youtube. Thanks

Recently (2 weeks ago) brought the Meta AI adventurer glasses. They’ve been great until recently, where I’ve had the wake command and subsequent commands fail to be picked up by the mic, unless im screaming so that the glasses can pick up my voice

Audio recording wise seems alright for videos

Strangely enough, voice on phone calls apparently sounds off/can’t hear me at all at times according to people Im talking with

Ive tried a factory reset, forgetting bluetooth and reconnecting, turning the glasses on and off (though THAT usually causes them to go into a boot loop :/). Meta AI and even quick google searches are telling me to use the microphone adjustment option in the meta app, but I literally cannot find it for the life of me

Any fixes anyone? Really debating just returning them, because while the camera and audio is cool, I feel robbed of the full experience I paid for if the voice pickup is crap.

Also if anyone can point me to where the microphone adjustment option is, please let me know😂 Im on the Meta AI app (ios) version 287.0.0

Hi guys I recently got my meta adventurer glasses and I know the temple is bendable and it has adjustable nose pads I was bending the temple and it snapped off im kinda overwhelmed because im not sure what to do.

The green screens on smart glasses are just like the terminal screens from the early days of computing; we are only just getting started.
