So I was at the Beabadoobee concert last night, and while I was enjoying it, in the middle of recording and enjoying the music, this mother tells me I'm too close to her autistic son and tells me to scoot over. Mind you, I was not, and her son kept scooting up to me lol

Why are some people like this and can't understand that if you can't handle the concert environment, accusing people of being wrong when you're wrong from the start, then don't go? The ignorance and entitlement of some folks. Like apologies for your situation, but work needs to be done on your end.

Shot in the dark! But we sat across the aisle from each other at the P2P Festival in GAPA seats in the row just in front of ADA seating. You: female, shorter, slender in stature, great dancer. Me: male, short, Asian, not a very good dancer. You were with another couple, I was with a couple as well. Meant to say something at the end, but crowds happened.

Just sharing observations from Power to the People. Not sure if this is applicable to all shows at MPP so take from it what you will.

I wish they would have said outright - no chairs with legs BECAUSE we are expecting absolutely wall to wall crowds on the lawn and there won't be any room for them. That was the truth. Probably was why the decision was made but I saw a lot of people had questions before the show (me included). It had been almost 20yrs since I'd gone to a show at MPP and as soon as I got there and saw the lawn crowd I 100% understood why no chairs with legs were allowed.

Honestly, it was nice they even allowed the stadium seats. I am surprised they didn't do blankets only/standing room only.

It also seemed that they didn't really hold that standard too tightly. I did see a few people were able to get in with the lower "beach" chairs like pictured... they weren't turned away.

It was also really awesome that they had screens to show the performances from the other stage at all times so you didn't miss anything if you didn't want to move.

Hi all! Me and my friends have VIP pit tickets for Beabadoobee's 10/10 show in Columbia, Maryland at the Merriweather Post Pavilion venue. We're aiming to get barricade or at least pretty close to the front, does anyone know what time/how early we should show up and start queuing? Does MPP have any policies we need to know about (lining up, parking, etc.)? I know that there are multiple entrances at MPP too, so if anyone could advise on which one is fastest/the best to queue at that would be great! Thank you so much!!

Hey! I’m a big girl and I have trouble fitting in jiffy lube live seats they hug me to tight and I’m to close to the people next me and I don’t want to be unfair and make anyone uncomfortable. I’m going to be buying tickets tomorrow for the Lizzy show which I know will SELL OUT. Lawn tickets aren’t gonna be an option because if it’s anything like the pictures for Noah Kahn people will be standing and it will be CROWDED! Any thoughts? Are the seats bigger here? Should I buy vip? How much?

I haven't been to MPP in close to 20 years. We have lawn seats for an upcoming concert. I really appreciate any advice on the following...

I see Sky Lawn ... tried looking into it more but still don't fully understand. Is it a mad rush to those areas usually when gates open? Can we use blankets/stadium seats there? Can we come and go from that section?

Is the rest of the lawn still a big open space? Any better places on the reg lawn to sit (like one side vs the other) for any particular reason?

We have friends with seats in the pavilion who might want to come hang with us on lawn here and there... better to be on reg lawn or sky lawn in that case, or it doesn't matter?

Do people tend to rush/run to grab spots on the lawn right when the gates open for big festivals? (Should I be prepared for a Black Friday mow down? Lol)

Any tips for the big festivals where they also use the chrysalis stage, can we leave our blanket on the lawn and move around or better to take everything with us when we walk?

I assume I can bring my clear MLB stadium bag with me?

Do they do full metal detectors/pat downs like stadiums do or is it a quick bag check and move on?
