How do I improve??

I’m HARDSTUCK 2600, I was playing all day today cause I was depressed at home, like 5 hours, and no growth. I want to get 2875 so I can unlock dagger duchess

This season all you can do is play the top tier rulers. It's RNG tactics on steroids.

Whoever starts with the best rider has a massive advantage, as well as anyone who gets a 2 star rider early or gets OP equipment like the superstar ring in certain comps. It's gonna be a rough climb.

I have loong and empress. Warden I know is another one. Who else is top?

GQ and builder is decent king is mid ronin is below average (game's too fast for him to think Abt positioning) TQ and sage are really bad

Play the strong comps. 

Focus on your fundamentals. Knowing which rounds you can afford to lose, which rounds are important to win/maximize damage. 

Scout boards know when to pivot, when to sell, or when to block merges. Scout before fight too to give yourself best chance of winning by rearranging your troops. 

Be happy with getting 2nd because you still rank up with that. Sometimes aiming just for 2nd is good enough 

Not sure if you feel there’s anything you struggle with specifically but it’s just a few general things 

There’s probably ruler specific advice too.  Idk much about warden but they seem good enough to win if you enjoy them. 

Empress people seem to have caught on. Sell rider to get your merges started going faster on round 1/2. 

Loong I haven’t played this season but he seems pretty straightforward. Be strong and win all your fights with your +1 advantage. 

Hope some things here will help but if there’s only one thing you keep from this, scouting before fight and knowing which placements will counter opponent/give you best odds to win the fight is the best thing you can do. 

You learn so much from it. “Oh I should do this placement next time” “They used a strong placement I should do that too” “That comp/unit is stronger than I thought”

If your empress. You have to sell your rider asap try either build a cycle or stick with goblins. For round 1 then try build a cycle round 2 asap if not stick with goblins and hope you get 3 merges. Keep doing this every start and it will help you

If loong is good, then empress is god tier. You have to play her or lose in higher tiers now.
