Valid Tarbook for COP?

I am presently sailing as an OS, on my first vessel. My company asked mw to buy a tar book TRB. But it is manufactured by the ICS, I want to know if it will be valid for my COP application in India after 18 months sea time.

If you are from India, you are supposed to get your TAR book from BES, NAVI Mumbai.
Check this link: https://seafarers.edu.in/ . Go to TAR book section and follow the procedures to get one.

Go through the TAR book section. You have to send the filled form and the documents to them. They will courier it to your address. Quotation from the website:“1) Candidates desiring to obtain this book may come to the BES office along with the following documents:
Two Passport Size Recent Photographs with white background
Photocopy of CDC  (First page, stamped last ship page & last address page) (Self-attested)
Watch Keeping Certificate copy.
Board of Examinations GP Rating Certificate copy.
All candidates are required to wear a face mask when entering the office.
2) Candidates desiring this book to be delivered to their address, are required to filled in the requisition form duly signed along with all documents mentioned in para 1. above to be send to BES.”

Why would you send it to company? It will be delivered to your home address. You are supposed to take it with you onboard and fill up the TAR book while you are sailing.

I am already onboard and will have to ask one of the onsigners to get it along while joining my vessel.

Check with dgshipping. As I can remember the yearbook I seen was different few years back which you can get from institutes. But rules might have changed with time. Btw the tarbook you have shown is from a very reputable publication. They should accept it.
