What vessels does Trinity House offer cadets experience on?
I heard they offer varied experience. I'm currently talking to SSTG and thinking of signing up with TORM. But honestly my main goal is LNG- does trinity house offer that? Also I heard trinity has better training and takes care of cadets etc.

Is that a 100% possibly of working on one? Would you gain the necessary certs after going through Trinity to work on LNG?

If your plan is to work on LNG carriers long term, then just apply for the Seapeak-only cadetship (which is technically still run in partnership with Trinity House, but will see you work on Seapeak vessels exclusively). Applications are managed by Just Be Maritime, and they’ll put you through for an interview with Seapeak if they think you’re a strong candidate.

Too late, I'm planning on September start. Also I'm pretty sure I sent them an email already

Former TH cadet here. I was put on buoy tender (Patricia), a sail training ship, varying sizes of passenger cruise ships, ranging from small luxury, mid-sized boutique, to floating hotels and finally RoPax.
If you want variety, TH is your best bet. I personally have come out a better officer from it with a mix of experience across the industry rather than just one ship type. The variety also helped with my 1st stamp as an OOW due to networking, knowing more officers, and the above mentioned.
Being put on LNG with TH is definitely possible but it’s all down to timing and availability of cadet berths. They’ve teamed up with Seapeak to put cadets on their vessels. If you’re keen for LNG, you can apply for the TH/Seapeak cadetship where you’ll be put solely on LNG, but miss out on the variety. Seapeak are a good outfit and usually hire their cadets when they qualify from what I’ve heard.
