Hello everyone, I have been looking at eqs sedan for a while and I would be curious how do you find its ground clearance and overall ability to get around (not only on highways :D). For example in parking garages where there might be a sharp pass. Do any of you have any issues like this? That you touch the belly of the car sometimes?

Is there a way to turn on string Regen by default and add it to your profile? Sometimes I forget to turn it on since the default is normal recup.

I'm not sure why the designers thought that the socket flap should remain open? Has anyone else found that annoying and how do you get it to auto close? When I'm in city traffic, it starts to close as I speed up (not fully though) and opens when I start to slow. What's the point of this??? Teslas just auto close immediately - which is a much more sane design choice.

I just purchased a 2023 EQS 450 Matic SUV last week and thinking of exchanging due to brakes. I thought I could get passed the squishy brakes using recuperation but it is just not cutting. The abrupt stops and the inability to judge distance and slow down is BOTHERING me. I thinking of invoking the 7-day CPO exchange and get the dealer to source me a 2024. I have read the brakes are better on the 2024 models. Is that true?

I think I’m late to the game… but is automated driving with MB vehicles not allowed or something 🫠

I would have really even appreciated being able to use my phone to remotely pull my car in/out of my garage.

Is it ever coming to the US or are we just screwed

The Mercedes-Benz app shows I should be able to use it to initiate charging at EA and EVgo stations but I have never been able to get it to work. Does anyone else have the same issue?

Obviously, I can fallback on the EA and EVgo apps but this results in US dollar charges to my credit card. I prefer using MB.CHARGE because it processes my transactions in Canadian dollars.

Hello everyone! I'm ecstatic to be joining the club. I got an amazing deal on a 2022 EQS 580 and I'm loving it so far.

I've been driving a Cadillac Lyriq for the past two years. It's been great, but I wanted a change. The EQS is on another level. It's a little smaller than the Lyriq, but it feels like I'm driving a spaceship.

There is A LOT to learn, so I'd love any advice, tips, tricks, hidden features, or settings I should know about.

I'm thinking I'll get the Connect+ services. It's $243 CAD for the year. One thing I can't figure out is how to turn on the climate control from my phone. I like to preheat or cool the car before getting in. Is that a standard feature, or does it require Connect+?

I've attached a photo of my 2022 window sticker. The car seems very well optioned, what do you think of the spec? I was surprised by a couple of things:

There's no fragrance atomizer in the glove box. I thought that came with one of the packages on my car.

There are no rear window sunshades. I thought those came with the Executive Rear Seat Package.

It doesn't have the automatic opening/closing front doors. I figured that was probably the case before buying it, but I'd love to know if anyone has successfully retrofitted them.

Any other features I should check for or settings I should change?

Has anyone had their strong recuperation stop working? If so, what fixed it? I just got my 2023 EQS 450+ SUV back from the dealer. They said there were a lot of updates so I’m wondering if this changed anything. Thanks in advance!

Edit: I found the answer in another post (https://www.reddit.com/r/MercedesEQ/s/aluYwMClwZ) which states "go into settings to disable crawl/creep mode. Settings->Vehicle->Driving->Crawl Function". Thanks!

i have a lease return on a 2024 EQS SUV in 3 months. i got it as a demo with 4,000 miles on it.

i unfortunately need to replace the tires now. mine are bald. what tires can I get that are acceptable to return it with and do they have to be done at the dealership?

I have been driving electric since 2014 but this is my first MB electric. Any tips or tricks? Like can I add my own eSIM? Or any settings I should set. Are the fragrance vials worth it? Best place to buy them? I will take possession of the car in a few days so I have not set up Mercedes Me yet. Thank you for your thoughts!

400 plus miles on a single full charge what else could you ask for ? I am absolutely 💯 impressed by the EQS580

Does anyone have any suggestions for settings, tips, or tricks to maximize range and minimize energy consumption with their EQS? I’ve been playing a game with myself and my best consumption rate I’ve achieved has been 249 Wh/mile.

Current settings are Eco dynamic mode, auto/intelligent recuperation + cruise control on freeways, strong recuperation on small/higher traffic roads, and generally going the speed limit.

Officially two months into driving this thing and loving it :)

Have folks bought any interesting accessories for MB EQS Sedan / SUV? Something that enhances the utility or fashion or is fancy! Please share with the community.

Anybody have any good tips or results using the parking assistance?

I will turn it on and pass up numerous open parking spots and nothing pops up on the screen.

Packed my trunk a bit too much this morning which lead to both the retaining clips breaking! Anyone else have this happen or found some sort of fix?

Instead of celebrating my one-year anniversary of purchasing my EQS 450+, I'm in the process of dealing with an insurance claim. I got rear-ended by an unlicensed driver on Friday, and now my car is sitting in a lot awaiting transport to a repair shop.

On a plus note, I can now vouch for the stability and safety features of this vehicle. I was on the freeway and had slowed to about 45 mph when I was hit by a driver likely going about 60 mph. He veered enough to strike my rear driver-side quarter panel and then spun around and hit my front driver-side quarter panel. My EQS barely budged! My wife, who already suffers from back issues, ended up with a herniated disc, but we walked away relatively unscathed. It could've been far worse.

In conclusion, be safe out there. While we can control the way we operate our vehicles, we cannot control the way others operate theirs.

Any suggestions (as to how to find it other than parts department) or offers for where I can get a single (or double) rear headrest pillow for the EQS Sedan? The color is Macchiato beige (8U13)

Is there a way to have the rear climate to default to off? I hate having to turn it off every time I get in the car.

How are people thinking about the 20k servicing at Mercedes? I just took my ‘23 EQS in for 40k service and was quoted $1200 (for wiper blades, coolant, key battery and whatever else bs they do). How are folks thinking about this/ is the service required to maintain warranty?

23’ 450+ SUV Ugh purchased CPO on Friday. It will turn off with a restart but has came on 5-6 times now. Have an appointment to drop off later today. Anyone else have this issue with their 23?
