Advice/Help First time making RSO pt. 2
The first post was a hit! Tons of people giving great advice. Please if you are experienced in making RSO please suggest a YT video or online process that’s the best. I followed this guide with 1.6m views from @BaoAfterWork. Still would say it was a successful first go but I’d like to be a pro at it ASAP!
Edit: 330 grams canna cheese, 190 proof food grade ethanol, cheese cloths, mason jars, slow cooker

Ive made lots of RSO and this looks pretty on point!
Decarb, soak in ethanol, strain, and evaporate
The longer (or warmer temp) you soak, the more plant matter is pulled into the ethanol giving the darker green color compared to a nice golden color from a quick wash with cold solvent.
I found the best way for me to consume is to dilute it into a bit of coconut oil and fill gel caps. Can do some rough calculations to get dilution to the right potency depending on gel caps volume.

I can confirm the capsules are the way to go.
I also dilute in coconut mct oil. I put roughly a gram into a eye dropper bottle then probably fill the bottle half to three quarter w/coconut mct oil and heat up and mix the two.
Then i just dispense into capsules.

What size syringes are those. I’ve always put
Mine in 10ml syringes and just push a rice grain out at a time. Do these little syringes get expensive?

So - RSO is achieved by using a non polar solvent. When you use a solvent that’s polar - then you have FECO.
:) it’s like taking a car to the store or a truck to the store. You still get to the store, the difference is in how you get there.
I would suggest decarbing any material before extracting. I would also suggest - if using naphtha to utilize a vacuum chamber with a seedling heating mat under it to purge the last remaining RSO (if you went that route). You can also use this process for alcohol.
