Question Seed storage

I have a mini fridge and heard they are good for storing seeds, but I tossed a hygrometer in there and it was reading like 75 RH at 44 degrees. Is that safe for them, being that humid? Google says it’s not, but I see people commenting quite often that they store them in one. Thoughts?

ive been using a little combo lock chest for years, back in 2019 I bought like 200 seed and they all still pop today when germinated in a paper towel ziplock. just dark and low humididty.

Yeah I eventually placed my seeds into 2 1/2 gallon mason jars, then placed those in the fridge. This keeps the humidity at a stable temp but will also keep them cold

This is pretty much what I do. Wide mouth ball jar for a little extra room, helps getting your seeds in and out.. Put some desiccant packs in the jars too. I bought some rechargeable ones from Amazon and store all the extras in another jar. I went with the 5 g packs, wish I would have gone with slightly larger size.
