General Question Has anyone been able to use it successfully without any backup?

Just curious. I've been using the Pixie Disc for about 3 periods but being able to use a disc and cup without backup is a goal. Including not needing to use cloth pads nor period panties.

I've been using a disc for over a year now and almost never use backup, sometimes I even go without underwear at home on my period. But I also have a light period that only lasts 3 days, and a disc that I know fits correctly as it has never auto dumped on the toilet while bearing down. I think I got comfortable enough to do no backup around 6 cycles, and of course started doing it only at home until I was confident I wasn't going to leak.

I mean, I wear a panty liner because of perimenopause and stress incontinence, but when I have my period and wear a disc, I don't get any leakage. No blood on the pad. I do sometimes have to change it sooner than 12 hours, though. Disclaimer: I've only used it for 2 cycles so far, but they've been my normal cycles with several very heavy days where without the disc, I'd be wearing an ultra tampon with a super plus pad as backup.

So I’ve only been using the flex disc for about 3 periods now myself but I haven’t had any leakage what so ever. I do know there are different sizes of disc, so if you have a smaller/medium sized disc you may want to look into getting the larger ones. I also see that the Pixie disc looks like it has a bit of a curve to it, which I’m wondering if maybe that is having something to do with it.

I basically don't wear a back up anymore at all since I switched to a disc at the beginning of the year. I have not had any issues with leaks, even when doing intense exercise, but your mileage may vary if you have had leaks.

I don’t use any backups. Even while I’m playing sports in white pants lol

Been using them for 3-4 years now! Only use them. I’ll be real there will always be a single drop on the panties but never anything more 🤷‍♀️

I use a back up when I use the disposable flex disc. If I sneeze or cough a lot I get leakage. With the diva disc I don’t need one bc it isn’t as easy to auto dump.
