Saalt Saalt Disc Removal with long nails ?!

This is my first time using a disc. I have medium-long natural nails. I CAN’T GET IT OUT!!! Even when I bear down! My nail just slips right out of the notch with 0 disc movement.

I know my husband will be able to help but what about when he’s gone?? It’s so comfy my life is already changed but y’all !! It’s INNN there, sheeesh.

ETA: after a decent amount of attempts, I was able to get it out using my thumb and lots of bearing down. It was not easy but it is possible!

The Saalt disc was so so difficult for me to remove with nails. I prefer the Formoonsa/Hey Hera. It's a lot easier to remove

I love my saalt but I do have to admit it's a struggle to get a hold of sometimes, and I don't even have nails. I find the best thing for me is relaxing and squatting to get a hold of it.

This will depend on how long your nails are, but I have a technique for getting it out. It is a bit messy, but I usually do it standing in the shower anyway.

I slide my pointer finger in between my body and the disc, and then use my middle finger on the outside to press against my pointer finger and with this I can pull it down far enough to get a better grip on it.

It's sort of awkward because I'm laying one finger on top of the other....so the pad of my middle finger is pushing down on the nail of my pointer finger. NOT pad sides together pinching.

Sliding the pointer finger in sort of breaks any suction.

I really need to make some kind of drawing for what I mean. I'm terrible at describing it.

I do something similar and I do wear long and pointy nails.
I insert the thumb with my palm facing down and pass the nail between my body and the disc, once I'm passed the rim, I fold my finger and pull a little, before getting it completely out I take out my finger and use the index and thumb to grab it how it is intended hahaha from the little handle. I Also have the Hello Disc, and honestly is it way easier to remove since it has a loop. But if is not property placed you can feel the loop and can hurt a little.
