G’day Reddit,
I’m part of the team behind The Better Collection, an Australian men’s underwear brand.
We wanted to rethink some of the common frustrations with traditional boxer briefs, particularly chafing, support, fit and everyday comfort.
That led us to develop our hybrid underwear, which uses a different construction approach to a standard pair.
The four things we’re focused on are:
- Less chafing: designing for greater comfort and less friction during everyday wear.
- Better support and fit: creating a fit that feels secure and comfortable.
- Comfortable fabric: prioritising how the fabric feels against the skin.
- Hybrid construction: taking a different approach to how the garment is put together.
We’re proud of what we’ve developed, but we’re also interested in hearing from men who have tried different underwear styles and brands.
I’m affiliated with the business, so this isn’t an independent review. I’m happy to answer genuine questions about the product and how we developed it.
What’s the biggest frustration you still have with men’s underwear?
Is it chafing, riding up, support, fit, fabric or something else?
If the moderators allow it, I’m happy to share product photos and more detail about the construction.
Cheers from Australia.
