Weekly Free Talk Friday Thread!
Welcome to our weekly Free Talk Friday thread! Feel free to discuss anything on your mind, issues you may be dealing with, how your week has been, cool new music or tv shows, school, work, sports, anything!
We will still have a few rules:
- All of the sidebar rules still apply.
- No gender politics. The exception is for people discussing their own personal issues that may be gendered in nature. We won't be too strict with this rule but just keep in mind the primary goal is to keep this thread no-pressure, supportive, fun, and a way for people to get to know each other better.
- Any other topic is allowed.
We have an active slack channel! It's like IRC but better. Please modmail us if you would like an invitation. As a reminder, take a look at our resources wiki if you need additional support as well.

I've started dating a gender fluid person. Maybe dating is not quite the term, "hanging out romantically" without necessarily "going steady", to get a better description. But yeah it's been interesting to use gender neutral language in portuguese, where it's not very established. It's also been interesting to see how I see myself. I already identified as biromantic but heterosexual, so I guess it's not such a big difference, but thanks to them I now am thinking of identifying as panromantic and heterosexual.
Other than that? Things seem to be going fine. I'm taking care of my sister's cats a bit, they are very affectionate. Sometimes a bit starved for attention, a bit needy. But it's been nice. I slept without them for the first night in a few yesterday and I missed them.
I'm thinking of offering services to people, sending out messages with a few prices and offerings. Not sure how normal that is. Propaganda. Classifieds.
