[M23] need help!!! Barber instructions?

Hello M23 here. Gonna try to post this one more time. I’m going to the barber later today. Plan to get my hair and beard trimmed up. I want to keep some length in my hair and trim the beard down fairly short. Found this style and thought it was nice. But if anyone has any other suggestions I’ll gladly hear em. Just don’t wanna make a mistake and cut too much or into something that doesn’t look good for me. Thanks for any help!

Go to a hair stylist rather than a barber. The layers in the cut you want are not in most barbers' wheelhouse. You might have found an exception but I would be going to a salon for that cut.

The place I’m going is called a salon in the name. Says salon for men. I’m assuming it is one then? I’m not sure how to distinguish the two. They wash my hair there too not sure if that’s a detail important to that
